Vail Village is a beautiful and romantic getaway. stroll through the cobblestone streets adorned with many bronze sculptures, water features and benches for relaxing. The Village is full of great shops and award winning restaurants. It is a pedestrian only Village which really adds to its charm and character. Stay in my condo and never drive again until you leave! The sun is strong in the summer so bring a hat, and wear comfortable shoes.ABOUT PARKING: My garden level condo comes with Free Parking for one car between the hours of your check-in and check-out in a gated above ground parking lot. The Vail Parking Structure is located just 1 & 1/2 Blocks away and available for you if you are coming to Vail earlier than your check-in or if you want to stay later than your check-out. My housekeeper needs the parking pass after you check out so please leave it for her.ABOUT MY CONDO: My condo is a studio condo - like a hotel room with a full kitchen. It is garden level so 6 steps down and it comes with free parking for one car in a gated parking lot located just outside the condo! There is a closet in the entry with several options for hanging or folding clothes and storing shoes. An iron and ironing board can also be found there, along with a bin of clean "Rag Towels" and a humidifier. There is also a Queen Sized bed, futon, 5 drawer dresser, and a luggage rack. The bathroom was remodeled around 2010. It is a full 3 piece bath with sink, toilet and tub with shower. It is stocked with hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, cotton balls, 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 2 face clothes. The hair dryer can be found under the sink and toilet paper is also provided.Stretch your legs out on the Queen sized bed (new in 2016) or the futon. I provide a 40' flat screen Smart TV with the standard You Tube TV, Netflix, Prime, Pandora, and so much more. Dining is at the bar in the kitchen. My kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove top, oven, microwave and refrigerator with freezer. It is also stocked with dishes and coffee cups that are a service for 8. Wine glasses, silverware, towels, pot holders, paper towels, cooking utensils, knives, toaster, blender, crock pot and Gotham Steele pots and pans. The coffee machine is auto drip coffee maker takes round filters. It is a standard 8 cup auto drip coffee maker and again takes round paper filters.The complex is quiet and respectful; you won't be kept awake late at night with the sound of bands or street noise. The view is toward the courtyard. A laundry room is located right next door with full sized washers and dryers. (coin operated but also digitally operated by downloading the app). Separated by cinder block walls so there is no noise from the laundry room, only the convenience.If you want to bring a dog, I do allow for one dog. No cats please, I am allergic. If you are a conscientious owner and don't let your dog bother others with loud and constant barking & you don't let your dog sleep in the bed or chew things up, I say 'Welcome'. I have never had a problem from a dog or dog owner in all the years of renting this condo. Please tell me if you are bringing a dog. Remember, this condo is a studio and I only allow one dog at a time. If it's raining and you need an umbrella, I leave one in the closet. If you borrow it, be sure you return it. It is easy to accidentally leave it in a restaurant - but then it won't be there for the next person that needs it. Thank you.I have much pride in my condo and since I live here in Vail I do frequent walk through and quality checks. I try to do so after every check out but that is not always possible. If you notice any burnt out bulbs, or things that need repair, don't hesitate to text me and let me know. My housekeeper has been with me for a long time and does a terrific job. If you are not satisfied with her work, please notify me. I try to keep things fresh in the condo, pillows, towels, linens, rugs, etc. are frequently replaced and upgraded. If you notice anything that needs my attention, again, please let me know. As you know, parking in Vail is difficult. My All Seasons Condo has a gated parking lot and the rental comes with FREE parking for one car between the hours of check in and check out. If you want a clean condo then respect that my housekeeper needs the parking pass between departure and the next arrival. This garden level condo is a studio condo and best suited for a couple (or a couple with a small child.) The views are toward the courtyard and my rates are the best in Vail Village! TRIP INSURANCE: Consider adding trip insurance. VRBO provides a link for trip insurance. Adding this to your reservation may cover your non-refundable trip costs if you have to cancel because you or a companion gets sick or injured before your trip. Both snow & non snow opportunities at the resorts abound!Other winter activities such as ice fishing, XC/Nordic skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, sleigh rides, sledding, and more are readily available in the area via a quick google search. In summer, the hiking is endless (we're happy to recommend trails!). Horseback riding, goat yoga, goat happy hour, art festivals, music festivals, farmers markets, bicycling, adventure parks, hot springs, fishing, camping, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more are all close by. THINGS TO NOTE:-Please make sure you understand and agree with our cancellation policy prior to booking. We recommend purchasing a separate, "cancel for any reason" insurance policy for your trip to cover you if something unexpected happens.-Colorado weather hazards are not unique events here and do not qualify for rate adjustments or refunds. Please plan accordingly and cover yourself with a personal policy that covers trip delay. -We are a high-alpine environment. Snow, ice, and hazardous conditions can happen at any time (even in summer). While the property is well maintained and many of the paths are heated and/or shoveled, not all surfaces will be clear of snow and ice at all times. Caution must be used and guests assume the risks of staying in an alpine environment. We highly recommend you do NOT wear ski boots when climbing the stairs to the unit. -Our space is best sized for one couple/two people only. It will feel a bit tight with 3 or 4 people.-While we do allow children, our space is NOT recommended for younger children. The condo is a top-floor walk-up. There is unprotected furniture with hard edges, balconies, sharp kitchen items, etc. that would be accessible to youngsters. We are NOT baby-proofed or toddler-proofed or curious child-proofed. Parents who bring children assume all responsibility for their children in the unit.-Our condo is not recommended for those with mobility issues. It was built in the 70's so there is no elevator and some hallways are relatively narrow. The stairs to the unit are outside and while they are shielded from the majority of weather, occasionally you will find snow present.HOUSE RULES:-The Vail Racquet Club HOA does not allow pets for renters. We love animals but please do not attempt to pass a pet off as a service animal. This is fraud and illegal in Colorado and only serves to harm those who legitimately need service animals. ESA's are not federally protected as service animals. Bringing a pet and/or faking a service animal will result in an immediate termination of your stay and forfeiture of your security deposit and reporting to the state of Colorado. Any fines imposed by the HOA for the pet will be passed on to you and become your responsibility.-Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the unit. And no smoking/vaping near open windows or doors to the unit. Smoke odor embedded in the unit will be charged an additional clean-up fee or result in the forfeiture of your damage deposit. If you are a smoker and smoking outside of the building, please be sure you are extra vigilant in your ashing and disposal methods. Colorado is MUCH more dry than most areas and a cigarette can easily ignite a raging fire. Do not smoke or have open flame near any potentially combustible material.-No tampering with smoke detectors, internet routers, wireless networks, thermostats, or locks. Our smoke detectors are hard-wired into a fire monitoring system. Tampering will result in a $300 fine from the HOA that will be passed on to you.-All guests WILL be required to sign a rental agreement after booking and prior to their entry code being given out. This agreement reinforces the VRBO contract but also goes in-depth with information about the property, fulfills our HOA and town requirements of dispensing certain information to guests, and it helps us collect information to help us customize your stay such as how many towels you want, how many parking passes you need, etc.-All guests must purchase either the VRBO-offered damage insurance or do a fully refundable damage deposit at the time of booking. CANCELLATION POLICY:We have a FIRM cancellation policy with VRBO. Please review and ensure you understand this before you book.We HIGHLY advise you to purchase a "cancel for any reason" trip insurance policy with a third-party insurance carrier. (The VRBO platform damage insurance is NOT a "cancel for any reason" policy. It is only for damage to the unit.) A CFAR policy can offer coverage for illness, trip delay, weather impacts, and more and are generally very economical.
