My wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. The homestay is next to Zhonglie Street in Yantai Mountain. There is a parking garage nearby. The housekeeper will wait for you on Cangqian Street in advance to help with your luggage. It is actually quite close if you walk up along Zhonglie Street. The location is quiet in a busy city. The coffee shop downstairs is very good. Coffee is provided for guests staying in the hotel. I highly recommend Viennese coffee. The hotel prepared eye masks and earplugs, which are still necessary during the Spring Festival. The waiter was very helpful. Soft drinks and welcome fruits were also provided, and souvenirs were also given before leaving. The homestay has self-service laundry and drying. The New Year atmosphere in Yantai Mountain is very strong, and there is a lottery for checking in a collection of blessing characters, which adds to the fun. If you only stay for one night in Fuzhou, I strongly recommend staying in Yantai Mountain. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the lighting is a bit dim and the aromatherapy smell in the bathroom is a bit strong.

I booked this hotel for my aunt, she said she had stayed at Huajiantang in other cities before and had a good impression. This time when I came to Fuzhou for tourism, I still chose Huajiantang, I was very satisfied, the environment was good. On Women's Day, they also gave me a bouquet of flowers. We are from Fuzhou, and we discovered a quaint new B&B opened here some time ago, so we planned to celebrate my wife’s birthday here🎁. The boss, Sister Zhou, also helped me book flowers and make cakes in advance, which was very touching! The courtyard here is very warm and the ladies there are so polite. My wife is very happy🥳 and said it was the most romantic💕 birthday she has ever had! The breakfast at the B&B is very rich and very nutritious! Full of color, fragrance, and elegant environment, which is great for taking photos [strong][strong][strong] Highly recommended, small and sophisticated, suitable for small gatherings🎈. I heard that it can accommodate about 20 people. I can recommend them to come here for the next company team building!

This is the second time I have stayed at this homestay, and this time I brought my family together. I really like the atmosphere here and the taste of the old building. The little brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic and will come again if I have a chance.

First of all, is a very nice place. Few steps from the hotel you be accessing to the centre of 3 lanes 7 alley. For staff, they have been very helpful and responsive. When we check out, the staff help me to carry the bags (quite heavy) to the main road (about 100m away). We felt very appreciative.

The room is clean, the design and atmosphere are very good, and it has historical characteristics, including the introduction is very interesting. Although the room facilities are relatively simple, it is also determined by the characteristics of the room. Compared with other advantages, it is a flaw that does not cover up the merits. The most important thing is that the service and attitude of the staff are very good. Breakfast will be delivered to the room after asking; they took a lot of careful photos for my mother without getting tired, which made my mother very happy; they will take the initiative to ask after forgetting something, and assist in sending it back by express delivery. What touched me was that when the staff heard our praise for the hotel design, they could feel their heartfelt happiness, and they could also feel that the staff sincerely hoped that the hotel they worked in could get better and better. This kind of professionalism, pride in their working environment, and respect for the designers and renovators of this hotel are indeed more precious in the current social environment, so I sincerely gave this praise.

The room is very comfortable, the breakfast is very satisfying, and the baby likes it very much. There is a new view at every step outdoors, especially when you walk along the small mountain road to the lobby. You can take a rest seat along the way and make a pot of tea or drink a cup of coffee to take a break at any time. It will be so beautiful when the flowers bloom. The beauty of Guling both during the day and at night can be seen at a glance. I will come again next time when the hydrangea blooms😏

It is also convenient to walk to Sanjie Qixiang (this attraction is really suitable for city work, but the snacks taste average) As many reviews say, the sound insulation is a little worse, but it is acceptable. It is said that it is also being upgraded. It mainly depends on the quality of the guests at the same time. It also depends on the mood of staying (I happened to meet a naughty boy who ran and jumped up the stairs and learned to call like a fire-breathing dragon in the yard at 8 o'clock in the morning. Because I have a good impression of this city and have fun, I don’t mind) The homemade braised noodles and fish balls for breakfast are good (better than the restaurant I found myself), but the side dish sausage is a bit unmatched with other things and needs to be improved. Because of the geographical location, parking is also a problem. The hotel should have cooperation with the community opposite, and parking is available (the hotel reimburses the car fee). It’s just that the location is relatively tight and you need to contact in advance. It is a homestay that I will consider staying in if I have the chance. I am generally satisfied.

The hotel was renovated from an old house in the Qing Dynasty. It is quiet in the bustling Sanfang Qixiang. It is very simple and convenient. It is also close to the subway. We were upgraded to a courtyard room with new Chinese + French decoration. It is also very nice to sit and bask in the sun when we are free. It is on the first floor of an old wooden house. The only small problem is the sound insulation, but the flaws do not outweigh the merits. The room has free drinks and snacks. You can choose Chinese or Western breakfast. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic.
