"I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Homer Inn and Spa. I came here with my boyfriend and another couple. Both of our rooms were incredibly comfortable and had gorgeous views. Along with the rooms, the amenities were wonderful. We took advantage and booked the Thermal Spa experience and it exceeded our expectations. I'd highly recommend doing this with your group if you stay here! The spa attendant, Lacie, was knowledgable about the experience and brought us water and tea. Another day, a friend and I rented the e-bikes and Layla did a great job in setting us up and giving us recommendations of where to go. These were so fun! Chelsea was also extremely tentative and responsive if I had any questions via text. She gave us some wonderful restaurant recommendations (you MUST go to Fresh Catch) and was very helpful during the entirety of our stay. I'm hoping to come back to Homer simply to stay at this place again."

"I can’t say enough about The Lighthouse!!! Our room was spacious and clean and fully equipped. The deck and outdoor areas had the most beautiful views… Plenty of places to spread out and have privacy. We ate dinner out on the deck one night and sat in the Jacuzzi and enjoyed the view twice! The bed is incredibly comfortable with nice linens and heated bathroom floors. Everyone was so nice. Liz and Josh made sure that we had everything we needed. If we ever find ourselves back in Homer, this is definitely where we will stay."

"The view from my room faces the ocean but the location at the end of Homer Spit isn’t exactly the best place to be because it takes 15mins walk to get to the centre where eateries, shops and ferries are located especially if you’re like me having to carry camera equipment. Taxi services tend to be slow at peak hours. Housekeeping is not efficient and needs to be reminded despite hanging the card out. Cups are not washed and bed is not made unless the card in the room(no card was placed in my room)is completed which was the excuse they gave. This happened for 5x out of my 9 nights where the other 4, I opted for no disturbance . Breakfast is buffet style but limited selection. My stay was over 9 nights. I have to return for another 3 nights on organised tour group. I informed receptionist upon checkout to put me in the same room. The answer is NO. The level of service at front desk and housekeeping needs improvement except for a special lady, Lena who is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, there is no value for money."

"We spent 4 days there for our 60th wedding anniversary in February. Everyone there went out of their way to make this a very special trip for us. They put a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries in our cabin while we were in town. A special thanks to Larry who did this for us. "My family had the opportunity to spend 1 night in the Aspen house at Baycrest Lodge. Homer was a last minute side trip that I’m so thankful we fit in. We will definitely be going back to this precious seaside town, mostly because I need more time at the Baycrest Lodge. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! In all my travels I have never stayed anywhere more immaculate or well appointed. There was no detail overlooked. My boys loved lounging in robes by the hot tub while overlooking the most scenic views of the bay. They also enjoyed playing football on the spacious green space right behind our house. I liked that it was private/outside of town but a short scenic drive to the Spit. The owners were so accommodating with our last minute booking and went out of there way to make sure we had the best experience. I’m so grateful we got to experience Baycrest Lodge. It has ruined me for all other places! My expectations just went WAY up! 😂❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars isn’t enough! Book this place-you won’t regret it."

"This was a great hotel to stay at! It had a walking trail on property leading to Bishop Beach. I spend days and hours walking along the beach. The large suite itself had a kitchen which made it convenient to eat at the hotel. It is right across the street from a grocery store and an easy walk to many restaurants. I'd stay here again in my next trip to Homer, Alaska!"

"We rented one of the cozy cabins and it was COZY. It had all the amenities you could want, including a washer/dryer and full kitchen. It was nice to sit by the gas fire and lookout over the lake. The decor was perfect for the cabin feel. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Homer (especially if you are taking the Emerald Air Bear tour). It is conveniently located, close to the spit and Skyline drive. Owners were easy to work with and accommodating."
