Casa Pellegrino Boutique Hotel

When I arrived to front desk, person who helped me with my check in offers me an upgrade of my original reservation, I took it because I believed that was an upgrade, when I arrived to my new room, it was not. Broken blinds, a noisy AC, old fashioned bathroom, far away from pictures of my original reservation. Immediately I told with front desk and request my original room because the new one was terrible and I had paid for a better one. After a couple of minutes they check for my original reservation -and assigned to me my room, but for my surprise, when I arrived to my room, someone was inside, my room already was assigned to someone more. I came back to front desk and report the situation and after 30 minutes I get a good room. All the situation was between 11:00 pm and 12:00 am, at midnight, was a terrible experience.

When arrived March 1, I was given RM 8 at Casa Pellegrino. Wilson and Maria was very professional and very friendly and delevered exceptional guest service! They definitely get a 10/10! The room was beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and brand new. It was so quite no matter what time of day it was and only 45 second walk to the beach Broadwalk. I really enjoyed my stay and definitely will book again with them. Shawn.

This use to be a boutique hotel but it has turned into a roach motel. The cook is a demonic woman who does not understand food handling and will scream at you for no reason. The five stars belong to the beautiful family that previously owned this place. It was wonderful. Currently the bathroom smelled of urine and I was so grateful to be out of there, since I only stayed one night. I would have given them a zero. Check out other ratings on yelp, They are now managed(?) by Hollywood Beach Hotels and they have quite a few hotels next to each other,

If you take notice of the reviews you will see that there is only one review besides mine in 2022. That's because the original owners sold the motel in December of 2021. That's when it received great reviews. It is now owned by a corporation that owns several motels in the area. I arrived at 10 pm after long flight and couldn't find the check in. A security guard happened to see us and walked us a block away to the check in at a different motel lobby as previous review stated. The first thing I saw were undesirable people loitering around and the smell of **** in the air. I went in to check in and their system was down and they asked us to be patient and wait. After almost an hour I told them I was leaving to find another hotel. I had a two night stay so I said I would be back the following day to check in and straighten out the first night. Came back next day and they allowed early check in. This was kicker number two. They said there was a $25 resort fee. Really?? It's a cheap motel. I paid it and checked in. Room was fairly nice and clean. No complaints. Beach 3 minutes away. Stayed the night and checked out and they charged me for the night I didn't stay also. Tried to correct it and they told me to call *******. Bottom line this place was probably very nice it it's day. Now it caters to low income and dregs of society. I actually saw a lady at breakfast put a stack of toast in her purse. I would never travel here with children and to be honest I would stay away all together. JMO

Beware Internet Scam! Trip Advisor photos not accurate. Paid $311 for a boutique hotel that is run like a dump. Here’s what we got: 1. Not a boutique hotel 2. No lobby: check in desk was a block away with long lines for people checking in for cheap rooms on internet. 3. Tiny room, cheaply furnished, floor dirty. 4. Thin walls: neighbors (a bunch of voices) next door guests arrived around 11:15 and had loud party until 6 AM. We had no rest so stayed awake all night! 5. Court yard is strewn with litter, broken down furniture, dirty fountain, trash bins spilling over from the free breakfast styrofoam plates. 6. Worst breakfast ever seen at a hotel, broken toasters, grocery carts full of plastic garbage at the entrance to room. 7. White bath towels and bleach are used over a bloom to sweep out rooms. Towels are black with dirt and left by the breakfast room! 8. Debris from palm fronds left to litter patio. 9. We had a Keurig coffee maker and no pods available to use or buy. 10. Another guest was looking for glasses for a special occasion. They said not available! No apologies! 11. Finally the most insulting is the sign in the room listing the price for everything in the room and the charge if it goes missing. 12. Charging for a boutique hotel and delivering sub standard conditions is amazing and there is no manager on duty to even talk to. 13. Oh ! Room key: First key issued we walked in on an occupied room. That left us worried that might happen to us. A hike back to the office a block and a half away to get key two that didn’t work. Key three worked but only one of the two keys. Ever time we needed a key or question, we had to hike back to the main office on the busy street and queue back into a long line of people complaining about being towed, checking in or out. 14. They posted that they have several pools to choose from but non had cushions, towels, or umbrellas! Most all looked unclean. If you wanted a beach towel, you had to go back to the main office and get in line and they put it on your bill.

Un véritable calvaire ! une heure et demi de queue sous la pluie pour faire le check in face à une réception totalement inefficace et j’allais dire débordée, mais non… totalement nonchalante et uniquement préoccupée pour vous vendre, ou plutôt vous imposer une place de parking avec menace d’enlèvement du véhicule dans le cas contraire alors que l’hôtel se trouve au milieu de nulle part le long d’une affreuse route à 4 voies. Une scène d’un autre âge, un mépris total du client. Je ne pensais même pas que ça pouvait encore exister en 2023. On se pince pour y croire !
