WARNING: ROBBERS AT THIS HOTEL! My experience at this hostel was a nightmare. Not only was I robbed of €150 from my suitcase during room cleaning, but the receptionist's poor english made it impossible to effectively communicate my concerns. When I tried to address the theft, the staff dismissed my complaint, insinuating that previous guests had lost their money elsewhere. In addition to this, despite booking a deluxe room with a deposit safe, I was assigned a substandard room with malfunctioning air conditioning that leaked water. After requesting a room change, I was offered a deluxe room, conveniently without a deposit safe as advertised. Coincidence? I think not. To make matters worse, the hostel's appearance in the photographs does not reflect reality. The establishment is worn-out, neglected, and unclean. Overall, the lack of security measures, coupled with unprofessional staff and false advertising, make this hostel an absolute disappointment for any traveler!!! BE CAREFUL!

I had a wonderful stay at 9 Hostel and Bar, Ho Chi Minh City. The staff was super friendly and I really liked the atmosphere in the lobby. The hostel is located perfectly in the middle of District 1. Couldn't be better!....................:)

12 people forced to evacuate our dorm due to a disgusting bed bug infestation. Staff were aware of the infestation the day before and did not inform any of the guests. When we found out (from other guests, not the staff) it was 11:30pm so there was almost no time to book a new place for that night. We were not offered any solutions other than to ‘sleep in the beds with the bugs’ or leave and find somewhere else to sleep ourselves. The manager sent her boyfriend over when we wished to speak with her, and the boyfriend was hopeless. He did not work there so had no authority to offer us any refunds/ solutions. Not been refunded nor reimbursed for the other hostel. Staff did not seem to take an infestation like this seriously. My boyfriend and I covered in bites. We have had to wash all of our clothes but not convinced we are rid of them since we are backpackers and they could be in our bags too. Avoid!!!

Rooms were as pictured. We booked two of the room with 2 double beds in and had a double each per room for our family of 4. 4 in the one room would have been very cramped as there was little space other than mattresses and somewhere to walk. These rooms were on the 6th floor and there is no lift – be warned! Air con worked well. Shower didn’t get very warm. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Bar was cheap. Good location.

Harga terjangkau 10 menit jalan kaki dari Jalan Bui Biren Kamar asrama dari lantai 1 sampai lantai 5 Kamar ditugaskan ke lantai 6 Menaiki tangga sangat sulit Kamar kecil. Jendelanya kecil dan mengarah ke lorong.

Super stylish hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh, prices are very reasonable and the staff is nice and helpful ! Rooms are small but very functional and a lot of visits are either walking distance or a short taxi ride away :) would highly recommend !

이번에 머물다 왔는데 약간의 미흡한 부분 제외하면 전체적으로 무난하고 만족스러웠어요. 부이비엔에서는 거리가 조금 있지만 그래도 번화가에 있음

El peor Hostel de mi vida! Las habitaciones NO son como en más fotos, está MUY SUCIO, las literas son horribles, entra la luz, no hay nada para apoyar el móvil, la luz y el enchufe están muy lejos de ti, hace mucha calor en las zonas comunes, el bar es muy caro y la ubicación no es buena, está en una calle apartada. Hice antes el check out porque me fui a otro hostel y hicieron como si no hubiera hecho nunca el check in para evitar que escribiera una mala reseña. NO VAYÁIS

There was lots of hair found under the blanket. My body feels very itchy after laying down for awhile (After Shower) You can peep through the door cracks. Requested to change the blanket / bedsheet. Staff told me to go out while they will help to change. Came back and it's still the same condition. Rooftop is closed at night. There's plenty of space to hang out. No escalator. Goodluck if you staying at the top floors.

My stay for 4 days and 3 nights to the hostel was not pleasant due to the following reasons: 1. The door of the female dormitory was not working properly. I complained multiple times, but they didn’t get it repaired. We had to bang the door from outside when any of us is going out. My bed was close to the door. So, I woke up every time when it was happening. 2. Locker keys are also not working properly. They gave me a locker key 8 and a bed 5 and asked me to use key 8 to locker 8. I tried locker 8, but one staff bag was lying there. I told them that locker is full. Then they said to use locker 5 as they had given me bed 5. It worked. I used the same key to open locker 5 and 8. It is pathetic. So, you can’t trust which locker is using which key. 3. On the next day, there was an incident of a theft in our dormitory. Someone stole a few electronics and a valet full of money from the big luggage of one of my roommates. She was left with no money. Since then, I was not trusting locker or anyone in the hostel and carried my stuff everywhere (even in the washroom) as I couldn’t either leave them in the locker (because of key issues) or on the bed (as someone can take it out). 4. There was water logging in some shower areas. It became like a pool once I finished the bath. They really need to improve the facilities. 5. Blankets were not given. I had to sleep in my denim pants and jacket. When I asked for the one at reception, he said I don’t understand English. I must say to avoid the hostel at any cost.
