Ulasan Travelodge High Wycombe Central

I had booked to stay here two nights but ended up watching the Euro final with family. However, it was nice to revisit the town where I misspent a lot of my youth (sadly the Flint Cottage pub was closed). Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, rooms clean with plenty of tea and coffee and breakfast ample.

Very good location, staff are very friendly. Just one problem for me is the bathing water is not hot enough

Everything was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.

Location is the best. Hotel is at center with lots of restaurants near by. Convenience for shopping and walking distance to main street.

The service was excellent,, enjoyed the breakfast the staff was very pleasant always willing to helpb

房間沒有電話，所以有問題要去1樓詢問處，吹風機也要在詢問處問才有。房間風扇稍微有點弱，但比沒有好，因為沒有空調。 但整體而言還不錯

The room itself was perfect, but the staff and facilities were more than lacking. The security were useless, as there was homeless people inside the hotel and a strong smell of ****, by the corridor as you exit the building, which was intimidating even for a middle-aged man. I told reception, but they didn't care or believe me, and one even laughed. Unable to close hotel room door, as a screw was missing from the lock, so the catch wasn't flush and stopping the door from closing. The two people on reception changed me to another room, but neither of them apologised for the inconvenience, and the young woman even suggested I tampered with the lock, as she said she installed a lot of them. Also, a very poor selection of wine and lager at the bar, so I literally couldn't find anything to drink, and even the vending machine was broken.

The satnav took me unexpectedly into a maze of sideroads with the travelodge nowhere in sight. This turned out to be part of the ghastly Eden shopping centre. I abandoned the car (it was 10pm) and eventually saw the travelodge sign on the other side of a really busy road leading to a large central roundabout. There was no way to cross safely but I could see no other way. Having dashed across this main road there was a railing which prevented me from getting onto the pavement and had to hobble over strange cobbles obviously designed to prevent anyone walking there. There seemed no way in to the hotel! I carried on round the corner and found an unlit tunnel with, again, no pavement and hurried through this into oncoming traffic and find myself in the "drop off point" for the hotel which my satnav clearly knew nothing about. The reception is on the first floor and the ground floor is a barren empty walkthrough. Yes I was told (I was pretty upset by this time because I knew I would have to get back to the car and collect my luggage and park the car properly somewhere) I would have to park in Eden shopping centre or else Sainsbury's which is on the other side of this large area of roundabouts and roads. I asked if there was a way to avoid risking my life on the road and , yes, there is a tunnel he said so I went in search. The tunnel is unmarked and more or less unlit but then I had to refind my car! This took about twenty minutes walking through this enormous empty almost deserted shopping centre (well past 10.30pm by this time) I found the car and finally found a way into the actual shopping centre carpark - keeping as close to the entrance as I could. This didn't help me though because now I was disorentiated and had to ask several people which direction the hotel was in. Noone knew and there is no sign of the travelodge on the shopping centre maps. Eventually a drunk guy mentioned in which direction sainsbury's was and i knew the hotel was in the same direction. I was carrying my luggage now of course. I finally reached the hotel at shortly after 11pm. It had taken over an hour to get to my room from my car! When I reached the room it turned out to be a disabled person's room (4th floor - its huge). There had been no mention of this at reception. The shower room smelt so badly of damp and mould that I couldnt face a shower. I am angry that all it says on the travelodge website is that there is paid parking nearby! Never ever again!

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice room on the 5th floor as requested. Quiet . Excellent value . The only problem i had was with my door entry card . Everytime i came back to the Travelodge it wouldnt open the door so i had to go all the way down to reception to be given another card .

Conveniently located in the centre of High Wycombe (where our head office is based) the rooms are comfortable and there is an excellent bar area where we were well looked after by attentive, friendly and professional staff. Daniel Jorge and his team deserve praise!

Had a good stay at High Wycombe Travelodge. At first couldn’t find car park, as information on website wasn’t clear that parking doesn’t belong to travelodge. Rang up hotel - Daniel helped me with directions to the car park and hotel. At check in I was greeted by Veronica, who was friendly and very informative. We had a pleasant stay at this Travelodge, new style of the rooms makes it nice and cosy. Parking available in the shopping centre which is like five minutes by walk. We will definitely stay again in the future, price was reasonable and staff pleasant
