After dinner, a nice soak in the hot tub or maybe s’mores in the Solo smokeless fire pit. The LayoutBuena Vista has three bedrooms and three bathrooms with an open living and dining room, a remote control propane fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, all memory foam beds, and four smart TVs. The entire home was renovated in the summer of 2022, with new flooring, new kitchen, new everything, all three bathrooms, new windows and an enlarged deck. Buena Vista comfortably sleeps eight with a king in the primary upstairs with an en-suite, queen bunk beds with a full bathroom steps away and downstairs another primary with a king bed, an en-suite, a breakfast bar with a sink, and two recliners.The KitchenEasily whip up delicious meals in the fully equipped small, but mighty gourmet kitchen. This is our vacation home too, so this isn’t your typical rental. It is our home and we love to cook. We have pretty much every kitchen gadget or serving piece you will need, All Clad and LeCreuset cookware, a paella pan. You are welcome to use any of the pantry items, spices, flour, sugar, oil, etc. The dining room table will comfortably fit eight for dinner or for game nights! The NeighborhoodBuena Vista is in a safe and quite neighborhood with only a few houses on the street. The property across the street is home to deer, and rabbits and if you are visiting in the summer months we have lots of hummingbirds. Buena Vista is easily accessible, no crazy twisty drives up a steep mountain. Minutes to groceries, restaurants, the water, golf, hiking, yet you will still feel a million miles away from it all.PetsWe are happy to host your well behaved dogs but do require you to obtain written approval from us first, (we cannot accept any dangerous breeds and have a weight limit of 20 lbs.). There is non-refundable pet fee of $100.00. Because we allow dogs, if you have pet allergy issues, Buena Vista will not be a good fit for you. SecurityWe feel very safe in our neighborhood. We live in an area where the neighbors all know each other, and we all look out for each other. In addition we have installed security cameras on the front and back of the house. The cameras are aimed at the street and driveway and doorways. A picture of the area the cameras record are provided in the guest book for you. The original footprint of the house did not allow us to make any of the bathrooms handicap accessible. Check in check out We offer seamless check in and check out. We will send you the codes for the lock three days before your arrival, easy-peasy! Please note we do store a car under the carport.Lock OutsTwo bedroom closets, a few drawers and cabinets are locked. We have made ample provisions for your hanging clothes and there is plenty of drawer space. Lake view and lakes access home , the home has gorgeous views of the lake from most of the rooms. Just a two minute walk to the lake. Home is located in a beautiful older neighborhood. It’s on a quiet cove that is perfect to paddle board on. We have two paddle boards we provide for your use. With 3 bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms plus a large additional living room in the basement you will have plenty of room for your entire family or group. Will park 5 cars easily. Access to the home is very easy ,with no steep driveways. Huge front porch overlooking the lake. 3.9 miles from downtown hayesville. 13 miles from downtown Hiawassee. Two of the three bedrooms upstairs have beautiful views of the lake as well as the living room and kitchen. We also have a patio in the front of the house that is perfect for grilling. This unique home has lots to offer! Cold Branch features 2 Park Models, ( similar concept as Tiny Homes ) Each side has a spacious eat in kitchen, small desk area, full shower bath and bedroom with built in furniture. This really offers a unique level of privacy so great for couples, couples with kids or golfing buddies. Both sides can be left open by the sliding doors that go into the Great Room or close the doors to separate one unit from the rest of the house! Both sides have separate as well as brand new HVAC systems . Between the 2 living quarters, there is a nice Great room addition . It has the main entrance to the house, 2 deck areas that overlook the babbling Syrup Mill Branch ( Creek ) Grill out and eat on the deck. Small fence area for pets. There is also a separate step down den with a sofa and a card table. The laundry room has full size washer and dryer for your use. Covered carport and room to bring your boat ! Cold Branch ( what we have always called this place.. we have had it for about 15 years as our getaway and vacation spot when we lived in Atlanta ) is 5 minutes to grocery shopping, add a minute or two for restaurants and Square events. There is a ton of things to do in the surrounding area. Known for some great trout streams, horseback riding, boating and fishing on Lake Chatuge, Fires Creek Recreation area, hiking, mountain bike trails, the list is extensive. Beautiful lakefront home on pristine Lake Chatuge nestled in small cove in between Hiawassee and Hayesville. This home offers a private covered dock with safe swimming as there is very little boat traffic and waves. The lot and driveway are flat so no four-wheel drive needed and there is a garage for easy parking. The back yard is flat with grass for games for the entire family! There is a short brick path from the house to the dock. There is a fabulous fire pit near the dock for campfires, storytelling, and making s’mores! On the main level, there is a living room with a gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare a large family meal to be served in the dining room which seats 8. The master suite is located on the main level with a king sized comfy tempurpedic bed, flat screen TV, large bathroom, his and hers separate closet spaces, and direct access to the back porch. There are 2 other bedrooms on the main level with queen beds that share a bathroom across the hall. If you must work while at the lake, there is an office with a desk and beautiful view of the lake and mountains. High speed internet/ WIFI/live streaming TV provided. The large upstairs porch is the highlight of the house with a swinging loveseat, dining table, gas grill, and stunning views. On the terrace level, the family room has a wood burning fireplace and an extra-large couch for family movies that also contains a pull-out full-sized bed. There is one bedroom with twin beds if the kids want their own play area. The terrace level features an interchangeable pool/ping pong table as well as a card/poker table. It also has a 2nd kitchen, fridge, sink and dining table so you don’t need to run back upstairs for snacks. If you decide to bring a boat with you there is room on the dock with buoys. There are several excellent boat rentals in the area including Boundary Waters, Young Harris Water Sports, and Lake Chatuge Marine. We have multiple life vests for you to use while boating and swimming.
