As someone in the industry, I have nothing to complain about (given the age of the hotel and the wear and tear, these are normal). If I had to offer a friendly suggestion, it would be to improve the hotel's service (but I'm also a little hesitant; given the current situation, it's unfair to expect frontline staff to have service standards from 20 years ago). "I highly recommend the Heyuan Xiangfeng International Hotel! The west-facing river view room was absolutely stunning; opening the window immediately revealed the magnificent confluence of two rivers. At sunset, the glow reflecting on the river created an incredible atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The dining was superb; whether it was Cantonese dim sum or the seafood buffet, the ingredients were fresh and the flavors authentic. The service was impeccable, attentive and thoughtful from check-in to check-out. The staff were warm, professional, and always eager to help. This established five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Heyuan!"

"The room was large, with a great view, and was reasonably clean. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend booking this for anyone visiting Heyuan. It's a 100-meter walk to the Guifeng Pagoda and the museum, and a 10- to 20-minute drive to the station and other attractions. On the second floor of the hotel is the Jinshawan Restaurant, which serves delicious food at affordable prices. The front desk service was excellent, and the stay was a wonderful experience."
