The Willow Bed and Breakfast

"Situated in the heart of Pateley Bridge, tucked away behind the High street, The Willow bed and breakfast, provided a lovely clean and comfortable room. The small fridge with fresh milk and bottled water was much appreciated. Plenty of coffee, tea etc provided and the chocolate treats were a lovely surprise. Although the ensuite was very small it was perfectly adequate. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked, beautifully presented, generous and very tasty, indeed, the best we have had in a long while and we have eaten a lot of breakfasts! The small restaurant also caters for the public and we would anticipate that the quality of the food at other times of the day would also be exceptional We would definitely recommend."

"This has to be the best place I have ever stayed. There are not words good enough to describe how good my stay was. The host is so friendly and accommodating. Bend over backwards to help. All the staff are wonderful as well. Breakfast is all local produce and tasted amazing and fills you up. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lovely views from massive back garden. Very easy to find the location as well. Highly recommended!!!!!!"

The George Carvery & Hotel

"Visited Thursday 4th September .29 mins before carvery finished.Pork/turkey plus veg etc.My partner has had a major operation and was clearly struggling to plate up.I felt i needed to explain the reason when he missed his plate slightly.,as the chef/guy just stood looking at him.No customer service skills whatsoever.My partner received one slice of pork one of turkey.He did ask if he may have one sausage to be told an emphatic NO.The reason being obvious 20 minutes later when what was left went to staff helping themselves.The carvery was no where near as good as it used to be,very poor.They do have a discount for over 55 on a Thursday,and the poor offering reflected this.I suggest he needs training in a little empathy instead of stood staring,maybe offering a helping hand(yes i did),.The chef staring at him only made him more self conscious,wont be returning."

"Stayed on the second floor and it was like having a disco actually in the room. Loud voices, music going boom, boom. Asked to move room and told none available. Offered ear plugs from reception staff member. Wish I had read down the reviews. Never experienced anything like it, and stayed in many city hotels. Absolutely awful experience."

"Setelah pengalaman buruk di Travelodge pertama kami di Bristol tahun lalu, kamarnya kotor dan hotelnya secara umum sangat kumuh, kami sangat terkejut dengan Travelodge di Harrogate ini. Kami berasumsi lokasinya juga berpengaruh pada hotel yang lebih baik dan lebih bersih. Kamar kami sangat bersih dan sarapan prasmanannya sangat enak 👍. Kami juga makan malam di sana dan pizza saya sangat besar dan enak. Suami saya cukup pemilih dan pastanya sangat enak, jadi dia orang yang bahagia 😊 Resepsionisnya sangat membantu, jadi masa inap kami sangat menyenangkan. Ini adalah Travelodge terbaik yang pernah kami tempati sejauh ini. Kami memang menginap di Travelodge lain di luar Bristol untuk perjalanan rock and roll kami awal tahun ini dan meskipun kamarnya sangat bersih, area sarapannya tidak begitu bagus. "So pleased that we booked this lovely guesthouse for our recent and well overdue visit to Harrogate. Great central location on a quiet side street within easy walking distance to town with free on street parking and wifi. Our ensuite room was clean and very comfortable with lovely touches provided such as fresh milk, chilled water and Harrogate tea and coffee bags plus delicious sweet treats. Also worth giving a mention to the cooked breakfast...wow! Cooked to perfection with top quality ingredients, it was truly amazing! The granola with fresh fruits and yoghurt was also a great start to Sunday morning. Thank you Dan and Felicity; you have been the perfect hosts. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay and feel pretty chilled and well rested after two great nights sleep. We would highly recommend The Franklin and will definitely return."
