"When I checked in, there was still some feces in the restroom that hadn't been cleaned up. The soundproofing was very poor. I could hear footsteps and talking from upstairs and next door. The front desk service was lukewarm. Apart from the good location, there was nothing else. I would not choose this place again and do not recommend it."

"Hotel is in prime location 5 mins walk away from train station. It has car parking at a charge with limited spaces. Rooms have everything you need in them very clean and daily cleans. Only downside to the room I was in we were at the back of hotel we could hear glass bottles put in bins and emptied early in mornings very loud the windows are single glazed and falling apart our window was held shut with a bolt type lock. Very warm in rooms did use the fans that were provided. We ate in the pickled sprout thats joined onto hotel which was very good food highly recommend. Friendly staff very pleasant stay."

"Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary - no special treatment Room ok - even though I had said I’d limited mobility it was on the 1st floor up 3 steps. Creaky floors  Shower had 2 shampoos and 1 conditioner with no shower gel - only found out when already under shower Parking but cost £15 a night with no reduction for blue badge holders Steps up to front entrance  Steps down to reception desk Breakfast was ok - sauce on eggs Benedict was cold and no beans on traditional breakfast - recommend boiled eggs and soldiers"

"This has to be the best place I have ever stayed. There are not words good enough to describe how good my stay was. The host is so friendly and accommodating. Bend over backwards to help. All the staff are wonderful as well. Breakfast is all local produce and tasted amazing and fills you up. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lovely views from massive back garden. Very easy to find the location as well. Highly recommended!!!!!!"

"The hotel is ideally situated next to the rail line which could be heard from our room but it was definitely not intrusive. Building work is currently taking place at Harrogate south hotel and contractors vehicles were parked directly outside our bedroom window causing us both privacy issues and noise disturbances. These same vehicles were repeatedly parking in the disability spaces making them unavailable for those like myself who needed to use them. In addition to this the back entrance of the hotel reception (closest to the disabled parking bays) was also blocked off to hotel users on one day meaning all visitors had to use the front entrance. It appeared to us that no consideration was made to those with mobility issues. A skip was dropped off about 5 am this which woke us both up. And the icing on the cake was a huge downpour of water lasting in excess of 15-20 mins was unleashed during this incredibly noisy morning. We later learned that this was a water tank in the hotel being emptied all over one side of the hotel. Unbelievable. I am happy to report that all staff we kind and accommodating and were very working hard"

"We loved staying in this little hotel, a large and clean room with comfy bed and pillows, spotlessly clean and well stocked coffee and tea tray. As we stayed on Friday, the carvery was served and the food was good (the beef and roasted carrots was excellent) and plentiful with the price you can't beat. Excellent value for money, the same applies for drinks. Welcoming staff and free parking. Despite being positioned by the road , we had a peaceful night , no outside noise. We will stay again here as all together, it was a good hotel to stay in and I recommend it to others , for visits of Ripon, Fountains Abbey, Dales..."

Kami memang menginap di Travelodge lain di luar Bristol untuk perjalanan rock and roll kami awal tahun ini dan meskipun kamarnya sangat bersih, area sarapannya tidak begitu bagus. "The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring sights of Harrogate everything very nearby! From checking in and our room available early with welcome cookies which were warm and amazing to checkout the staff could not be more helpful! The room was on the third floor clean, tidy and well presented. The gym and spa facilities were all good and nice to use and relax especially on a Sunday evening! The breakfast was buffet with a selection of hot and cold options the parcel machine was my favourite fresh pancakes which were delicious! This hotel is huge but it's well maintained clean tidy and such an enjoyable experience for our anniversary!"

"I’ve just spent the weekend based at Sophie’s in the delightful little bustling village of Hampsthwaite on the edge of the Dales in Nidderdale. Next door is the thriving Joiners Arms with the friendliest happiest staff we’ve ever known in a pub (it was full watching the Six nations finale with England playing). It wasn’t a one off either ! The next night was a quiz night with a full house too. All the components one would wish to find in a thriving village community! Sophie also has the lovely well stocked village shop too. We stayed at Sophie’s (one in the Shepherds Hut out in the garden with views over the fields to the Nidd). It was surprisingly spacious and delightful! You venture out to the loo located with a lovely shower in the smaller hut next door. My only thought would be to have slightly taller chairs to match the height of the pull out table but understand why they’re small ! It was very relaxing & comfortable followed by breakfast in the coffee shop tea rooms which are a perfect place to enjoy the views of village life or relax into the comfy sofas. I don’t think I’ve ever met more relaxed easy going hosts who produced a lovely cooked breakfast and easy atmosphere which was great fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay located just a few minutes away from Harlow Carr RHS and Knaresborough/Harrogate Totally recommend a stay or a trip to the excellent quality Coffee Shop (which is light capacious & airy) or indeed Hampsthwaite itself to the Joiners Arms for lunch or dinner. Being from Kent I had forgotten how amazingly warm easy & friendly almost everyone we met were to us and made us feel so welcome & comfortable Thank you Sophie & Steve 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼"

"Rooms a little tired but was clean. I found the bed on the soft side. Check-in fine, though we did have to wait a few minutes. Restaurant - one of the servers (Indian girl) was an absolute star, bussing tables, serving drinks, smile on her face. Other one just stared at her phone most of the time, ignored customers (including me) and appeared work-shy to the max! If she's on break (which I'm sure she wasn't... unless she was on break all the time) she shouldn't be there in uniform behind the bar blanking customers! Food was decent both in the evening and at breakfast. Felt in general like the place was a bit short-staffed... though it might have appeared less so if everyone had been doing their job!"
