You are a leisurely 3 minute walk (1 minute slow run to the beach for the morning exercise) to the desirable north side of Hampton beach, and a short 5 minute walk to the sea shell stage for outdoor concerts, the board walk with many restaurants, casino ballroom with concert venues, entertainment for kids of all ages, shopping etc. Some activities to enjoy are the seafood festival, sand sculptures, deep sea fishing, and activities by the beach. Bike rentals are only 10 minute walk from the house on Ashworth ave. Bike or drive on Ocean Blvd to Rye, Odiorne state park with its trails and ocean vistas. Visit the quaint town Portsmouth in 15-20 minute ride along the ocean, and enjoy stunning views of the area. Several marathons occur in Hampton and neighboring towns during different times of the year that bring a great new vibe to the area.
