"The room was ok but the place is totally run down. The last day even the elevator did not work for „maintenance“. A major hassle as I have a knee injury and was on the top floor. Staff cannot be bothered  to even greet but gives the vibe that we should not disturb them in their private conversation. Also I had to pay a deposit.. Honestly annoying, in all my travels in different countries in the world that was the very first time. If you don’t have to, don’t book with them!"

"Reception was efficient, Room was located upstairs a bit inconvenient especially with bags to haul, the room was spacious and clean , jetted tub was awesome, very handy location, our room was next to the main entrance, very noisy with traffic going past, woke us several times during the night, would not recommend this room. Would prefer a downstairs room away from the main entrance will be mindful if I book this hotel again."

"The studio apartment with one bedroom was very spacious, and the furniture was in excellent condition. The bed was super comfortable and large. Everything was very clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly. A couple of minor inconveniences: the reception is in the hotel across the street, and you have to check in there. The second issue was that there were some flying insects that looked like small cockroaches, and we don't know where they came from because everything was very clean."

"Our room was a bit on the small side with only one small space for a case that could be opened up for more storage, it did have two big windows tho that looked out over the gardens. Our hosts were welcoming and pleasant and the house is very nice. You have breakfast with the hosts and any other guests in the morning that we were not aware off, it’s served on the table in covered glass dishes that you help your self too, it was ok. We met and fed the Alpacas that come running over when you rattle the food container that was quite nice they have the softest lips and are very careful eating from your hand. The Garden is quite nice I had binoculars in my case and some of the birds there were lovely. The plants and shrubs on the drive way to the house could do with cutting back as our hire car’s sensors were constantly on when driving up. Would benefit from private breakfast room."

Even though there is no reception at the property, you can still easily get assistance by phone and texts. I left my backup cell phone in the room when I checked out, thanks to the staff who immediately informed me when he found it and managed to return it to me. I really appreciate their kindness."

"I stayed here for three nights and was quite satisfied with all the room facilities, except for the poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear the sound of car engines outside when I was sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe it was because of the engines of the cars themselves, but it still caused my poor sleep quality. If you are someone who is sensitive to sound and want to stay here, you may want to consider it. In addition, on the afternoon of the second day of my stay, because there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my room door, the housekeeping staff should not have come in to clean. However, I don't know if one of the housekeeping staff didn't see the sign or for some other reason, but she swiped the card to open the door after knocking on the door three times (I didn't answer the door when she knocked because I was in the bathroom and couldn't respond). At first I thought it was the working habit of people here in New Zealand, but the more I thought about it, the weirder it got. So the next day I happened to meet another housekeeping staff and confirmed with her. She said that if there is a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the guest's door, they will not open the door to enter, but will only take photos for record. The housekeeping staff was also surprised that this happened, and apologized to me on behalf of the housekeeping staff who opened my door, and said that they would report this matter to their manager again, so apart from these two things, I was quite satisfied with this stay."

"The lift shook from side to side as it passed the mezazine floor, which you can't access The carpet is wearing out and has been patched where it had gone into a hole There was complementary handwash which was empty and not replaced the whole time we were there The Grout around the tiles in the shower is black and the shower head is black as if it is either rusting or it hadn't been cleaned The base of the Queen bed had a hole in it and the mattresses were very hard The pipes in the parking underneath the building was leaking and the air-conditioning duct pipe is broken One lot of windows in the room had no catch on the window and it had a big piece of polystyrene behind it The window appeared to open into the wall cavity There is a fridge, electric jug and complementary tea, coffee, sugar and milk which was replenished daily along with any used towels I was disappointed that there was no microwave, so you either had to eat out or make sure you didn't have anything that needed heating They have got American toilets, so the water is 3/4 of the way up the toilet bowl and goes down when you flush it and then fills back up The photos on the website are old photos which makes it look very nice but it's nowhere near as nice as the photos"
