"The part of my trip to Japan I was most looking forward to was staying at a Hakone ryokan, and it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived at the ryokan, the friendly staff's guidance and the refined Japanese atmosphere made me feel as if my travel fatigue was melting away. The guest room was a traditional tatami room that was immaculately maintained, and the natural scenery visible through the window was truly beautiful. What I particularly loved was the hot springs. Soaking in the warm water felt like all the accumulated fatigue was melting away, and I was able to spend a relaxing time in the open-air bath accompanied by a cool breeze. The Kaiseki meal served for dinner was so excellent that I was impressed by it with my eyes first, and moved a second time by its taste. Thanks to the fresh ingredients and meticulous plating, I was able to truly experience traditional Japanese culinary culture. Hakone Ryokan, where I could enjoy hot springs, delicious meals, and comfortable relaxation all in a quiet atmosphere, remains the best memory of my trip to Japan. It is a place I definitely want to visit again if I return to Japan."
