This is a great hotel if you are interested in resting for a day in the middle of your trip. The location is good, 10 minutes away walking from a pedestrian street with plenty of establishments and restaurants. The hotel offers great views with included free activities, in which I took part of two: the Miao Ethnicity photoshoot session and the ******* bowl sound healing. It has a pool which unfortunately I couldn't try as I'm traveling in March, and is too cold, but I did enjoy the terrace views during both day and night. The butler service is quite attentive, answering quickly to our doubts and offered a plate of fresh fruit upon arrival. We didn't eat in the hotel, instead we preferred to order from outside, and a Keenon delivery robot makes sure to deliver the order directly to your room. The suite was spacious and clean, with a lovely decor. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it for families and couples.

Amazing hotel, very clean and nice. Service was really good! We stayed here for one night and decided to extend our stay for an additional night. It's a good hotel for families as there's a children's playroom. Breakfast could have more variety of foods but the guilin noodles was delicious! Location was convenient and easy to find. Their service is also really good. Communication via wechat was easy and convenient with quick replies and robots would deliver our food orders. Free drinks at the lobby and inside our room. Cleaning service was also really great. My toddler threw up in the middle of the night and we called for room service to change the bedsheets and they were super quick about it! Definitely recommend!!

The hotel is situated in a prime location, right next to a stretch of food hawker that open in the afternoon and stay open into the night. Just outside the hotel, there is an underpass that leads across the road to a variety of restaurants, tea shops, and a starbuck. Catching a taxi from the hotel is quick and easy, allowing access to many attractions within a half-hour radius.
The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment is commendable. We were very pleased with our room, which was upgraded to a higher floor, offering us a stunning view of the city skyline.
Breakfast was simple yet decent, featuring a selection of local/Asian dishes. For those who prefer a more continental option, there were also breakfast cereals, bread, butter, and jam available.
The hotel lobby also offers day tours organised by local tourist company that you can sign up for which makes it really convenient. The hotel staff will be able to introduce you what trips are available that could possibly suit your need and stay throughout your visit.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and service.
We did not get to see all of Guilin during our 4D3N stay and will certainly come again. We will definitely stay in the same hotel too!

Nice location and nice room with nice view.
The lobby staff (娟子，陶子） are friendly and working fast for the check-in and check-out process.
The cleaner (秀秀） is thoughtful enough and great observer by preparing more bottles of water for us when she saw there is milk powder in room.
The concierges are helpful too. Always there to give a hand to the guests.
The package we booked come with free essential oil massage and photography session for 1pax. The massager number 3 is friendly and professional, applying consistent pressure and give full body relax during the massage session. While during the photography session, the make up artist provide good make up and the photographer is giving good leads in teaching how to pose.
Overall experiences are good and happy with it. Will revisit next time when go Guilin again

Amazing view from room. Cool amenities including a high quality massage chair. The fried rice for breakfast was yummy. The bathtub was fantastic. Hotel staff was helpful. Only issue I had with the specific room I reserved was that the entrance to the twin pagoda park was on the street below and people were very loud. From as early as 6am to about 11pm there is bound to be some noise. Personally for me, the view from the room offset that issue.

Overall a very nice hotel but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. In my opinion it's more of a 3-4 star boutique hotel. The room was very large and nice, with 3 panoramic windows to the courtyard in front of the entrance. No unpleasant smells, one window with mosquito net. The TV didn't work, meaning it didn't have regular channels connected. The bathroom very large but unfortunately without any heating. In my opinion too cold for a bath or shower. Leaving the door to the room open and raising the room thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius didn't change anything. Welcome fruits were very nice. Free afternoon tea modest, exactly as shown on the photo during booking. Amenities with too strong for my taste, masculine smell. Based on the number of seats in the dining room (only 24), I think it's a really small hotel, so the breakfast had a very limited choice and quantity, but it was tasty. At the check out each guest receives a pack of local tea. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is connected by bus 18 or 100 with Guilin North station but I don't recommend taking bus. First of all, tickets from Guangzhou or Shenzhen should work, but they didn't, and neither did Allipay. One ticket costs 2 yuan, and you can pay in cash. More importantly, there is no overground crossing between the nearest bus stop and the hotel. You have to use an underground passage [a lot of stairs, no lift], and with suitcases it's a big problem. In the other direction, from the hotel to the station, there's no such problem. Taxi cost around 0.25 euros per kilometer.

This is my most value for money stay for a long time. I was given a free upgrade and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was extremely spacious and heater warmed up the room well despite the single digit temperature. Had a morning breakfast buffet for 38rmb which is quite value for money for the choice of selection. Would totally recommend this to anyone.
Also book a day trip to Longji Rice Terrace from their service desk for 200rmb which was also one of the cheapest I can find.

The hotel staff is super helpful and they responded very quickly to our requests.
They have a small indoor playground for children.
The weather was cold, therefore we could not use the outdoor pool, but it looked appealing with its great view on the river and the city.

My family checked in on Oct 24. We stayed for 3 nights. We were happy with our stay in this hotel and would recommend friends to stay in. We also had our rooms upgraded to larger units.
Prior to that, we had a warm reception by Xiao Wan and he even personally helped to bring our luggage to our rooms. He also recommended places to eat and visit.
There were welcome fruit and sweet snacks and even brewed desert of white fungus for each of us which we never had before on our trips..
The views from the restaurant on the 7th floor were fantastic. We wished we had stayed longer.
We will definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Guilin again.

GGuest UserA truly magnificent stay - highly recommend
Even before I arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I received a message the day before my reservation to call the hotel. When I called, they asked if they could send me a message on Wechat as they didn’t speak English. The staff simply wanted to know my eta so that they could turn the a/c on in the room to cool it down before I arrived.
The hotel is more of a BnB set up than a hotel - similar to a house design. The building is 5 stories high with I guess around 4 rooms on each floor. This makes it perfect to escape the large tourist groups which frequent bigger hotels.
When the taxi pulled up outside on the day of my arrival, 2 staff members rushed out to welcome me. Check-in was quick and they told me that they had upgraded me to a bigger room. They also asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day as they had some different ‘Western’ options (think Chinese idea of Western but still okay). I was able to have toast and fried eggs every day.
The room is really exquisite - I came alone but would definitely recommend for couples as the bathtub is heavenly.
The two balconies offer beautiful views of the karst mountains. The room is also tastefully done up in wicker and white. And the bedding is luxurious. My only recommendation for the room is to add some sachets of instant coffee.
The pool is perfect for a cool down and what a spectacular view from the loungers!
I swam every day and every day while sitting by the pool, the staff brought me some refreshing lemon water to drink. In addition, every day of my stay they brought me something: day 1 - fresh watermelon and some blueberry thing (candy?), day 2 - baby tomatoes and more blueberry things day 3 - apples and peanuts. On checkout, they prepared a local snack and water bottle for the trip home.
The staff at this hotel really go the extra mile and just about bend over backwards to serve you. It’s been a long time since I have seen such eager staff and it makes for a very pleasant change from bored receptionists on their phones.
I cannot rate the hotel highly enough for their excellent hospitality service.
The location is also perfect - away from the main ***** but an easy 15 minute walk to the river rafts and another 5-10min to the ‘town’ and a variety of eating options. That’s when you turn left when you get to the main road from the hotel (5min walk). Turn right at this road and you can comfortably walk (30 min?) to some other sites like the one with the hole in the mountain (overrated) and an exquisite cave - Dragon cave. If you like caves and the formations within I highly rate this cave. It is truly gorgeous. You can also rent bikes or a scooter 10m in front of the hotel.
The staff do not speak English but they communicate via WeChat and are more than happy to help with anything.

GGuest UserThe stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine.
There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day.
The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time.
The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved.
The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay.
We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze.
We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away.
West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip.
10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

Some of the tour arrangement service available at the front-desk. The only shortcoming is the lift going to the level 2 hotel lobby is a little difficult to find but it doesn’t affect the overall quality and service of this hotel.

AAnonymous UserThis time on my trip, I chose to stay at this hotel. The stay experience far exceeded my expectations. It was simply a pleasant journey for both body and mind.
The hotel is right by the Lijiang River. Standing on the balcony, you can enjoy the scenery of the Lijiang River. The architectural style of the hotel is unique. The decoration in the room is elegant, making people feel a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
The service staff of the hotel are extremely warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, every link makes me feel at home. In particular, the reception staff at the front desk are not only considerate in service but also very patiently answered all my questions.
The hotel's facilities are very complete, with facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, and SPA, allowing me to maintain health and vitality even during my trip. I also participated in some special experience activities. For example, the SPA project reserved at the hotel made me completely relax.
In general, this stay experience in Yangshuo, Guilin is extremely wonderful!

HHelen Yu (Chestnut Journal)I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Elephant Trunk site and it really is just about 5 minutes by walk. Overall, not too bad at all, its greatest strength is the roominess. Amenities were alright, I liked the hairdryer, and in one of our four rooms there was proper capsule coffee provided. It is also close to coffee shops and a really good local noodle shop. The only problem for me was that we had elderly and they have to walk up the stairs to reach the lobby, and that was not made clear in the hotel introduction. I think it would be quite necessary to indicate accessibility facilities.

AAnonymous UserA simple courtyard that combines age and modernity is located at the foot of the beautiful Moon Mountain. You can see Moon Mountain through the window. Adjacent to Julongtan, Big Banyan Tree, Yulong River Scenic Area, etc., the karst landform is a sight to behold at a glance. A boutique Chinese-style B&B that not only retains the simplicity, elegance and beauty of rural areas in northern Guangxi, but also incorporates modern and comfortable design. Highlights of the B&B: There is a small yard and terrace, where you can have afternoon tea outdoors, which is great for taking photos. The B&B as a whole retains its ancient style, is quaint, warm and comfortable.
The decoration style is relatively old Chinese style, the bed is very soft and comfortable, the design has a sense of the past era, the daylight is good, and the food has both Chinese and Western styles. The beer fish is really great, very authentic Northern Guangxi flavor, the coffee and juice are also delicious, you can enjoy it in the pomelo grove or in the open-air restaurant on the top floor.

NNitaiStaff was extremely nice and helpful, even helped us reserve e-scooters. The hotel is built right on top of a great and popular restaurant. Rooms are really nice. Location is great, only a three minute walk from the wharf (which was great because we had a lot of luggage) and also a three minute walk from West Street which is a lively pedestrian street with a great night market, and basically the heart of Yangshuo.

EExpatThis is an absolutely beautiful hotel. As a solo traveler, I do feel that it’s good for one night to experience that design and pampering space. There are bus tour groups which go there and seem to work well with the KTV, Buffet meals, and lounging areas.
From my trip, I stayed for two days after the Chinese Qixing Festival. It was really nice to arrive and have access to the teatime snacks and desserts as well as the wonderful architecture and furniture design. The outdoor pool is nice, however the indoor pool charges 50 yuan because they offer drinks and snacks. The only drinks and snacks they offered were juice boxes and some fruit. One employee told me that there were cocktails available. The exercise room and yoga room were set up very nice. The shower rooms very clean. I would not pay for the indoor swimming pool in my opinion based on the drink/snacks.
The bar that is advertised from some user photos does not exist. Some employees said it was open, others said not. Management can communicate that better, as a lush hotel should have a solid lounge. The tea lounge does not have any alcohol drinks available, but rather decoration of wine bottles. The design is gorgeous though. One employee told me that they ran out of alcohol due to holiday, and another employee told me that there was a bar open which really was not. I simply went to get my own spirits when I wanted a cocktail (made in my room).
Other than that, everything in the hotel was fine. My room was really lovely with the exception of the fact that you cannot go out on the balconies and there is a smoke smell from the carpet. The hotel gladly gave me a an air purifier to help alleviate the smell. My opinion is that the power should be sat on before a guest checks into their room. I had to change the filter over the two days. It did not appear that the KTV was open (maybe epidemic), I decided to go hang out in town, but enjoyed the Victorian flair when relaxing.
Overall, the comfort, bathing, and relaxation was great. The breakfast is really delicious, and the service of the employees all around was impeccable despite the fact that they could not offer all of the amenities. It seems an OK place for families/photos as well since the property is unique. The 50 yuan for tea time was probably the most valuable, and the room service staff are detailed. The butler/reception very professional, Ayi staff amazing. Transportation quite easy.

She went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially as we were celebrating my wife's birthday. The thoughtful room decorations and the delicious complimentary cake were a wonderful surprise. Luna's insightful recommendations for local attractions were also invaluable, allowing us to discover hidden gems in the city.
The hotel's well-maintained gym was another highlight of our stay. The state-of-the-art equipment and serene ambiance provided the perfect setting for a rejuvenating workout.

SSéverine SCHAEFFERExtraordinary suite in a beautiful wooden inn with a breathtaking view of the 9 Dragons and 5 Tigers spot. Excellent bedding and very nice bathroom, spacious living room with excellent tea available. The restaurant serves simple and tasty Chinese cuisine with local products. We particularly liked the snails in sauce. The owner and the ladies on duty are very dedicated to the customer. We suggest providing bathrobes in the room when exiting the bathroom which is facing the windows. A more complete breakfast menu would also be perfect. Thank you for your welcome, we hope to return in another season to discover the rice fields with other colors.
