This is my most value for money stay for a long time. I was given a free upgrade and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was extremely spacious and heater warmed up the room well despite the single digit temperature. Had a morning breakfast buffet for 38rmb which is quite value for money for the choice of selection. Would totally recommend this to anyone.
Also book a day trip to Longji Rice Terrace from their service desk for 200rmb which was also one of the cheapest I can find.

We were lucky to book this cost-effective B&B on our way back!
The lady boss was super nice. When we checked in, we happened to see them having a barbecue. She warmly invited us to eat with her and even sent a delicious birthday cake to our room for the child. They proactively communicated with us and changed us to a quiet room with sufficient heating. They also introduced us to a restaurant that was delicious and affordable. They were very thoughtful!
The bed in the room is very big, and the pillows seem to have been carefully selected, so I slept very comfortably at night. The hygiene is also quite good. Whether it is bed sheets, quilt covers or bath towels, you can see that they have been carefully cleaned and disinfected, so you can feel very safe staying here.
This B&B that is run with such care deserves a big thumbs up from the proprietress. I will come again next time I have the chance!

I rarely stay in B&Bs, but I accidentally chose this B&B with a high score of 4.8 on the Internet. It is located in a Feng Shui treasure land at the foot of Diecai Mountain. It turned out to be the former residence of Huang Xuchu, a general of the Kuomintang and the chairman of Guangxi Province during the Republic of China. After being restored by the attentive owner, it has the temperament of a mansion in the Republic of China. [Wangchai] The entrance is right at the ticket gate of Diecai Mountain. Turn left and go through the cave to get close to the Li River. It can be called a running and leisure destination. I accidentally ran another 10 kilometers and mistakenly entered the small island in the village to experience the simple life of fishermen. Several major scenic spots in Guilin are within a radius of 3 kilometers [Proud]

The overall experience is very good, the Lijiang River view is next to the homestay, and the cloudy scenery has a special flavor. The room was cleaned very clean, the equipment was very new, and the two nights were very comfortable. The breakfast rice noodles are delicious, and the chili juice is delicious, so you must add it. The homestay's own dog is very loved by his relatives and loves to play with his name. It is a wonderful fate! In the morning, walk the dog along the path next to the hotel, and there are fruit and vegetable breeding grounds on both sides, accompanied by fresh and moist air, the sound of birds, and the sound of the leaves being blown by the wind, which is very pleasant. Service: The boss's service is really nothing to say, especially intimate, the boss has a one-year-old granddaughter, he lent all the granddaughter's toys to the children to play ～ The children had a great time in the courtyard, as if they were back to that childhood carefree look.
Hygienic: The floor of the room is wooden, so it is very clean. The bathroom is also very clean.

The room is clean and tidy, and the staff is friendly and polite. Because it was very late when we arrived and we hadn’t had dinner yet, picture 1 shows the dinner arranged for us. The air in the garden is very good, the vegetables are grown by oneself, the chickens and ducks are raised by oneself, and there are many fruits that you can pick as you like. What can I say.... AMAZING!! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed both nights!! From when we first check in, the lady who checked us in, helped us with our suitcase and they are big one too! (note there is no elevator). To the lady that work at night and cook our yummy breakfast in the morning, thank you! We are both vegetarian, so she was always checking to make sure we can eat it. She was super friendly, talk to us and tell us what is nice to explore/play, and make sure we have enough food to eat! On the last day when we have to check out early as we have to catch the Li River Cruise, she make sure we have food to eat and that we can bring on the boat to eat as well. She was very thoughtful!
The location is over the bridge about a 10 mins walk to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. I prefer here as it more quieter rather than on the main street. Furthermore, it not that far, with only a 10 mins walk along the river and you will reach most places.
I also loved the decor in the hotel as well, it has everything you need. They provided free snack, and we did try some too!! Good to try local snacks which we did end up buying when we saw it lol. You could also go up to the roof top, which will provide a 360 view, especially the view looking out to the Li River on a nice fine day is so worth it!
Lastly, my mum left some of her belonging in the hotel and forgot to pack when we check out. They courier this to our next hotel in Yangshou, which is very thoughtful of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here.

We booked a room with a bath tub and view but when we arrived, the bath tub was in a different location and there was a huge tree blocking the view which was quite disappointing. The staff were lovely though and Jerry offered for us to switch rooms with other guests (we didn't ask we felt this would be unfair to the guests who had already settled in their room). Jerry tried very hard to make our stay comfortable and was very helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and the village was quaint and quiet. I would stay here again.

Stayed for three days and two nights! Very comfortable small courtyard, very close to Guilin North Station, just by the river near Lushan Bridge, you can be very cold, the small courtyard is very good to punch in and take pictures, the little fairies who like to take pictures and punch in will really love it here ～ There is afternoon tea here, take pictures here in the afternoon, read a book, I am very suitable for handling the work ～ By the way, the housekeeper here is really caring! SShanzha1118Facilities: Complete facilities. There is an elevator, so you don't have to worry about carrying too much luggage. There are ample parking spaces.
Hygiene: Whether it is the sanitation of the yard, the lobby on the first floor, or the room, it is very clean. When you bring your children to a hotel, the most important thing is how hygienic it is. Although this store is an inn, the sanitation is really good.
They also prepared a toilet mat very considerately, which is great.
Environment: The small courtyard is on the side of the road and is easy to find. A very clean and elegant house.
Service: The proprietress and her family are very good and enthusiastic. They actively help with luggage and make people feel at home. I feel very safe staying here.
After checking in, the proprietress sent me and my child to the place where the bamboo raft was dizzy. Before going, she repeatedly reminded me to wear more clothes because it would be a bit cold if I took the bamboo raft. It was very heartwarming. Thumbs up!
The breakfast is not as rich as that of the hotel, but the nutrition is balanced and there will be no waste. If it is not enough, you can add it (the guests who ate next to us have added it). It's delicious, thumbs up.
Summary: If I have the chance to go again, I will still choose this store. I hope the boss will continue to maintain the purpose of treating every customer with good quality hygiene and service, and keep the store open for a long time!

DD. VerweijZen Garden was our most remote hotel during our China tour. The location is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views of the hills and mountains.
However, despite receiving an upgrade after the first night, we found the price-quality ratio unsatisfactory. We paid the same amount for our stay in a five-star hotel the following day in Nanjing, which provided a significantly better room and breakfast.
Since its opening in 2017, the hotel appears to have undergone little to no maintenance. There is noticeable wear and tear on the building, and the toilet emitted a strong sewage odor, which was quite unpleasant.
Communication was a challenge as Cindy was the only staff member who spoke English properly. When she wasn't available, it was difficult to communicate in person. Fortunately, the WeChat communication was an excellent alternative and made things easier.
On a positive note, the afternoon tea and dinner were quite good, offering healthy and fresh options.
Breakfast was very limited and none Western options except an egg and white toast with butter.
The complimentary zen shoot was a nice touch, although it was apparent that it was the photographer's first time conducting such a shoot.
We were particularly disappointed with the spa. The treatments were much different than expected, lacking the luxury and expertise typically associated with such high prices. Additionally, the cost for two people was almost the same as the room rate, which we found unreasonable.
Overall, while Zen Garden's location and some amenities were enjoyable, the lack of maintenance, high prices, and communication difficulties detracted from our experience. With all the new buildings in the same area, there are better options.

The hotel staff created a wechat group for us which is so convenient; we can ask/request for anything in the chat and replies were always prompt.
There’s free transport from the hotel to 西街 till 8pm. There are also free breakfast, teabreak and even night dessert!
Special shoutout to the butlers - 小王, 小岑和小姚, they are the most helpful and cheerful lot. They helped me with my many questions and were very friendly.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo!

As soon as I opened the window, I could see the picturesque scenery, as if a natural landscape painting was unfolding slowly in front of me. Chen and Tang at the front desk were so warm and thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, every detail was taken care of properly, making me feel as comfortable as at home. The location here is superb, right next to the Li River. It only takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the bamboo raft pier and experience the pleasure of floating down the river. The food in the restaurant is also superb, and every bite hits the taste buds directly, adding a lot of wonderful flavors to this trip. I am really satisfied, and I will definitely stay here again next time if I have the chance!

The balcony was a real added value as it was raining heavily most of our stay, but the balcony remains protected from the rain which allowed us to read books and drink tea without getting wet whilst enjoying fresh air and gorgeous mountain views. Once the weather cleared, the viewpoint was 200m away. I would highly recommend !

Whether it is the faintness of the sea of clouds surrounding the mountain in the morning or the evening glowing and tender, or the stars at night, it brings a sense of peace and tranquility: two ears do not hear the world, and the edge is in this village; In the morning, you can go up and down the stone road, while enjoying the beautiful scenery around you, you can also go to the mountain tea room to have a cup of good tea; in the afternoon, continue to climb, sit in the pavilion at the top, overlook the whole village, and then shout out the inner poetry and distance to the mountains; At night, make a wish to the stars (the heart fire to the stars, the wish is true). Here, you can completely empty, live a few days of pastoral life, lamenting that the paradise is real.

AAleksandrPNice hotel, room is clean and bright, the hotel is pretty close to the location where you can take a boat trip along the Li River. The staff is friendly and kinda helpful.
But there are some issues that better to know before you go to this hotel.
Firstly, the hotel located in the village and the cars cannot freely enter there, we took a didi taxi from Yangshuo city and when we were 3 km away the hotel, the taxi driver started to argue with us that it's not allowed for taxi to go there, and luckily we insisted to enter and we showed our voucher to the police guard so they let us enter by taxi. If we believe to the taxi driver we could end of walking to the hotel with a big luggage 3km. And better if the hotel can warn of this in advance.
Secondly, we already knew that the rooftop swimming pool is not for swimming, only for taking photos, so we were hoping to take some good photos but when we SAW that swimming pool, we were really disappointed. The pool that you see in the hotel profile is only photoshop!!! The reality is totally different!!! Seems that they didn't clean the pool for a long time, you can see the photos below. They also wrote in the comments that you can swim in their pool that is on the first floor, but actually you CANNOT because the water is only under your knee in that pool. So it's also not what you are expected.
The last thing is we did mention that it's our honeymoon while booking the trip and the hotel didn't pay attention to this. We left very early in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast, the hotel told us before that they can give to us some snacks and they did not. Anyway they provided a free transfer to the train station which is very convenient.

GGuest UserI found this B&B online. Thanks to the owner for upgrading the room. The scenery is so beautiful. I can't get enough of the fried bamboo shoots. The bamboo tube chicken and bamboo tube rice are especially fresh and sweet. I will come to your home again if I have the chance. Before leaving, I also brought some monk fruit grown by the owner to drink in water. It's cheaper than what is sold outside. It's mainly for peace of mind. I'd like to add that our luggage is quite heavy. The owner's mother carried it on her back when we came and went. I was very touched. Don't miss this home if you want to come.
