Really clean hotel, staff are really friendly too. Nothing is too much trouble. Pool area is lovely, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good enough and tasty with the usual food for a hotel. We had a standard room with balcony and it was great. Can really recommend the Bellavita restaurant , and the cake selection in the little coffee shop just up the road. All in all it’s a good spot.

Recently had a 3 night stay here the apartments are clean and beds were very comfortable. Pool area was lovely, bar was great. We had the buffet breakfast which was good value. Staff very helpful and friendly. First night we ordered a taxi from reception to Albufiera old town which was €13 there €20 back but another guest advised to book an uber as much cheaper and we did this 2nd day which was €5 each way and as soon as we booked it driver was there, seems Uber is the way to get around. Nearby beach is beautiful, very quiet with some lovely bars along miles of sandy beach and around 10-15 min walk from the apartments. We stayed at Bayside as part of a wowcher mystery holiday and we were more than happy with our stay and would definitely return! 😊

This is such a lovely hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious enough, with a lovely balcony. There was a hob, kettle, microwave and toaster in the room that all worked well if a little slow (kettle). There was also a hairdryer too but I'd advise taking your own if you think you'll need one as it wasn't the best. The pool and bar areas were nice too - well maintained and looked great. Sun loungers weren't an issue and they were always available at anytime when we walked past the pool. The staff were all absolutely fantastic and did absolutely everything they could to make our stay as nice as it could be. The area is quiet with a snack bar just on the corner, and supermarket 5 mins away and the beach about 10/15 mins away. The Marina, Old Town and Strip are further out but the ubers are quick to arrive and very fairly priced. The hotel also has a shuttle bus for €3 but we didn't use this as taxis were cheaper for the group. The stay here overall was wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Love it here, I have visited 4 times previously. Always made to feel welcome, very friendly, polite staff, cleaners work really hard to make the rooms clean, pool cleaned at least once a day and the gardens are immaculate too. This visit my daughter came with me and although it was only a short break we were treated in a very friendly way as a valued customer. The breakfast is very good value as were the bar snacks, tasty too. Cocktails (alcoholic and non alcohol) very reasonably priced and nicely presented. Nearby beaches are immaculate and so beautiful. Several restaurants within walking distance. Personally I like this area as it is quiet, relaxing and safe. My husband has booked to return next year with his son and we will be visiting again later in the summer too.

We spent a week at Bayside, We arrived at the Bayside very late and had a bit of a panic because are room was towards the very back and we could hear lots of noise from a nearby hotel, so we asked to be moved and The lovely guy Rubens on reception, showed us another apartment but reasurred us that the one we were in was one of the best and that the others were due to be refurbed, so we decided to stay put and we were so glad we did, room 2304 was very spacious, clean and modern and the noise from the nearby hotel finished at 10.30pm and was then so quiet, we slept like babies 👶😀 Arriving late meant that everything was closed but the lovely member of staff on the bar made us 2 ham and cheese toasties 😋 Bayside is a lovely comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay, Only downside is not much around and no entertainment on site. Breakfast which was included in our holiday package was basic but nice enough, Only 8€ if paying each morning. Selection of pastries, cereals, Yogurts, Ham, cheese and fruit and small selection of hot food, beans, scrambled egg, sausage and smoked ham/bacon. Only other food is bar snacks which we did have and they were tasty 😋 Shuttle bus each day to OLD town, nearest supermarket (small) 15mins walk uphill, Aldi a little further approx 30mins walk. Small snack bar down the road, that also does take aways. Salagdos beach 20mins walk away, well worth the walk beautiful beaches and you can walk form beach to beach, a few bars and eateries on the front too. It's worth downloading the Uber or Bolt app before you come as it's easy to get around using these. We took a boat trip from the Marina to see the caves and dolphins 🐬😎 would recommend having a look in the Marina, several restaurants and bars to be enjoyed too. Rubens on reception helped us book. Would recommend eating at Pedro's Amarelas on Praia Da Gale beach front especially if you love fish 👌 Value for money. If you want a hotel close to amenities with lovely views Bayside is NOT for you BUT if you want a lovely, clean, comfortable and friendly base to go walking or visit places by taxi or hire car, This would be PERFECT for you.

This is my second visit to the hotel and loved it just as much , you can just relax , no having to get up early for sunbeds at all as always some available . Guests are very respectful of each other which is nice . A quiet hotel , very clean all the time . Christina , Luis and other staff members are so welcoming , we arrived about 10.30am and our rooms weren’t ready so Luis could not have been more accommodating taking us around other rooms that were ready and suitable for us . Tea and coffee facilities, fridge , cooker etc . Breakfast is a selection of bacon , eggs , toast , rolls , ham , cheese , fruit and little tartlets that I still haven’t tried but have been assured by the rest of my family they are delicious . Plenty for everyone and eat as much as you like . I drink cocktails and they may seem expensive but trust me you get a really decent cocktail there and no skimping on the alcohol at all , you get what you pay for and to be honest 8 euros is pretty reasonable compared to other countries I have visited and the cocktails are not as nice as the ones here . They only have a snack menu in the hotel but all the food is delicious , it’s a shame they don’t do a small evening meal menu as I would certainly have stayed in the evenings to have my evening meal there . You can get a taxi down to Old Town etc and the hotel will order you one , Anna-Bella is the taxi driver who comes to take you and she is such a lovely lady , so chatty and can tell you all the nice places to visit . Beach is about a 15 minute stroll and is a beautiful beach , very clean , fantastic waves . Whilst I was there I had to be admitted to hospital and unfortunately cut my holiday short , well I can say that all the people that work there could not do enough for me , so kind and caring , giving my family advice , arranging for a doctor to come then arranging for Anna-Bella to take me to the hospital then also to the airport , they were so concerned and nothing was too much trouble at all , just cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond . Put my family at ease and myself . I would highly recommend this hotel to people wanting a relaxing break .

Bayside is situated about 5 miles from the old town of Albufeira so you need to factor in the cost of taxis to get to the nightlife. I was astounded that in an area packed with hotels and holiday apartments there is just one small supermarket, about a 10 min walk from the Bayside and very few restaurants, but it's an ideal place to stay if you want peace and quiet. The apartments are very spacious and clean with lovely smelling sheets and pillowcases, comfy bed and great walk in shower. The cooking facilities were disappointing, a very confusing hob and sparse cutlery and crockery, no bowls for cooking, no chopping board, spatula or mugs (bring your own) but a good microwave and fridge. I did have to complain that my room hadn't been cleaned when the receptionist replied "maybe you locked the door so they couldn't get in"! A very odd reply. One day I returned to find the cleaners had mopped the floor and hadn't dried it, there was a lot of water which almost caused me to slip up on the stone floor. The swimming pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and shade if required, the grounds are neat and well maintained daily. If you want breakfast it's good value at 8 euros. I thought the free WIFI was a real bonus.

That’s the 3rd year we spent our vacations in this hotel during August. Staff is awesome and the food at dinner is amazingly good and genuine when compared with other large hotels facilities.. (e.g NAU Palace or Palm Village all around this region) where we’ve also experienced. Bayside facilities are quite comfortable and the clean service acts the whole week (except one day). Very good for resting and relax…it keeps a stable and good service.
