"We had a junior suite with a small bathroom dividing the living room from the bedroom. The shower is very small but the towels are plush and the mattress is good. Unfortunately no lotion nor conditioner provided though they do have cotton swabs and bar soap. The breakfast is simple and ask for vegan croissants if you want. Great location at the edge of the shopping street which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Inexpensive parking a few steps away and the people are so nice!"

"Location is perfect when traveling by train as it’s right next to the Grosseto station. You can also get to the city center (main Piazza) within 10-15mins of walking. The room was spacious for a solo traveler like myself. Just note that they don’t provide dental amenities (toothpaste & toothbrush). Otherwise the amenities are great, and the shower area is big too. The front desk staff are friendly and tried their best to communicate to me in English. There is a lift so don’t worry about huge suitcases. Breakfast spread is great and huge shoutout to the friendly staff/barista Raimona (hope I spelled it correctly) for amazing coffee and always greeting with a big smile on the mornings!"

"Visited the restaurant although we were not staying as guests. Went twice and the restaurant was excellent. The pizzas were very very good and not too expensive. The fried Calamari was also very nice. The staff were polite and helpful and the surroundings were very pleasant. A meal with drinks for 7 people came to €120 which was good value. If you do visit there is plenty of parking but remember to bring some ID as one of the group needs to keep a copy at reception."

"We had a great time on La Pulledraia. The room in the Tuscan style has really liked it. It was cozy, clean and equipped with a large refrigerator. Air conditioning was also available. We were very guest friendly. The food was very delicious and rich. Typical Toscana cuisine with products from your own courtyard. Eat was made together with other guests on a long table. That was a nice experience as you came into the conversation. Epolito and Heidi could be answered at any time in questions or wishes and it was helped. Sometimes there was music in the evening. It was very familiar and a beautiful community. During day or evening you could take beautiful excursions with Heidi. The well-being of the horses was very important in her. We also liked the animals' attitude very well. They have a lot of space, shadows and are well provided. There were still some changes planned at the riding site and I am already curiose about it. We look forward to the next holiday on Pulledraia"

"Let me start by saying - i enjoyed it for 3 nights maximum, would not have stayed longer but would also consider coming back. My husband was/is less keen as there is not much to do onsite and you must go out for daytrips. I loved the gym for weight training and cardio! i liked the food options although the service was super slow on our first night (over an hour for our Primi and then...they forgot the Primi and brought the secondi...and then the Primi. Shambles! but it was not repeated the second night :) Quality was good of dinner and breakfast - both were included for us. Drinks super overpriced, even water! Pools were nice. Farm was nice to visit with my toddler and there was a nutella party. Rooms were good. There was no way to book the grill place...t was always fully booked... Checkout was flexible on timing which was super helpful for us with a kid. the pool bar was cash only...which meant we couldnt have coffee / food unless we had cash (which we did not)."

"Grand hotel Bastiani is just cozy and elegant and you're welcomed by a young and helpful staff. I've been traveling to Grosseto on a monthly basis for years now and I think I have stayed in all the facilities in the neighborhood.. Honestly this is the one where I found myself more at ease, rooms are spotless, spacious and tastefully furnished, above all they are quiet, which is unthinkable inside the walls, trust me. The breakfast is wonderful, rich and greedy. Combines the variety of the English breakfast with the flavors of the Maremma enriched by fresh fruit, homemade cakes and freshly baked croissants. Don't forget to enjoy teh espresso at the bar which wakes you up in one sip! I must highlight the politeness and the elegant availability of the Director, who managed to satisfy the particular needs of my elderly parents with whom I was traveling. Not to mention the discreet but punctual presence of the staff on duty from early morning until late at night. location is great, perfect to explore the city on foot and just 10 minuts drive to the beach. I will definitely return there at the end of the month and for the next trips. I'm so happy to have found my oasis of peace and kindness in which to rest and regenerate during my daring journeys in the Maremma."
