Hotel Hedemarken

Great hotel.Great staff .breakfast was wonderfull so much chiice ..the rooms are basic but very clean.And as the temperature outside was -4 we were very great full for the cosy warm heating.We will return .and definitely recommend billund and all attractions are within walking distance and it takes around 45mins if you want to walk to airport

Bad hotel. We booked a room for a person in a wheelchair 2 weeks before our stay. When we arrived they didnt have a room that was suitable for wheelchair use. Then they tried to compensate by food but they realized that that would not solve it. Then they made a armwrest to the toilet by themselves (that was the problem). And that was my story...

Arrival 6 pm. got a room. The room was not cleaned, the bed was NOT freshly made. Complained. Lady from the reception went to the room, came back after 5 minutebn-now it is made. She only folded the bed, not freshly made, bathroom not cleaned. Wanted to leave. She gave me a fresh room. I slept. At 11pm I was awakened by fist banging on door. was scared. Opened. Security and the cook. I was told to leave the hotel immediately. Asked why. No explanation. Wanted to speak to the manager-that would not be possible. Had to get dressed and undressed in front of the gentlemen, waited in the pouring rain for the cab. At 1 o'clock I found another hotel. I wrote an email to the manager, called him - no contact possible. I have a trauma until today. Fortunately, the children were not there. As a hotel employee told me, the lady at the reception was not stress resistant. She was angry with me because I wanted a fresh room. She told the manager around 10pm that I was aggressive, which was not true. Was calm and solution oriented. The manager does not even ask his guest, has him forcibly awakened and expelled from the hotel. Disgusting. All staff seem to me oppressed and afraid to talk. Hands off this hotel, I can only warn everyone. Something like this is ripe for TV but not for families and Legoland visitors. In addition, it is teeming with mosquitoes.

We stayed for two nights. The room was big (despite the dimensions of the rooms in hotels in Copenhaga, for example), has a double bed and a sofa. Although the shower it was small and with just a curtain, it was ok. The room is a bit austere, but you don’t need anything more. The tv has chrome cast so you can use your phone apps to see a movie (if you have the energy after Legoland). The parking is free. The breakfast was good, diversified enough.

Good cost effective base for legoland. Stayed here with my 2 young children, next to a bus stop with regular running services to legoland. Not many walking distance food options however a few options on justeat or public bus runs into town. Staff very friendly and beds comfortable, breakfast is a small but delicious selection.

We stayed for two nights and had complications with the room. Long story short the cleaners and maitenance had not delivered as could be expected, but the front desk was utterly professional and helpful. They really went out of their way to do everything they could to find solutions.
