Hotel is good. Service terrible. We have Arrived with heavy luggage and nobody wish to help us. Breakfast very poor and low quality Dinner we stay 2 days and exactly same menu. At 15,00 pm room was uncleaned. And Dont have clean coffee cups Pillows was wit therrible dirty smell

Nice hotel, normally inwould recommend a hotel like this. However when ypubpay 320euro a night you would expect the spa to be included in the price, and not pay 30 euro per person extra. Really bad and unexpected. Restaurant is good, breakfast well. Too hotel, without a high service level

+ Good customer service, i.e. I forgot my tooth brush and got one from the reception + Big gym with a big variety of machines + Big breakfast with many different alternatives + Free parking next to the hotel

We stayed for two nights with a Golf-package that included two green fees and 3-course dinner for two nights. In short we where surprised by the quality of the food, really good so the restaurant comes with high praise. Excellent service! Pool-area is really nice with great offerings at pool bar. We also really enjoyed the golf course, diverse with great kept and challenging greens. Good location to the inner-city of Gothenburg, less than 15 min by car.

Very nice hotel. Great spa and service minded staff! We checked in late and the front desk booked a taxi to our restaurant in adgangen because we were short on time. Great pool area with indoor and outdoor pools.

Overpriced and terrible service. And if you complain about anything, they will simply ignore you. Don’t bother; Gothenburg has many other hotels and restaurants to offer. I have been a Gym member at Sankt Jörgen for over 10 years; my wife and I usually treat ourselves to overnight stays there a couple of times a year; I even held a full-day work conference at their golf annex five or six years ago. So I know the place and what it used to be like. The hard truth is that it has gone downhill, hard. For this stay my wife and I didn’t get the room we ordered. We ordered park view and got city view and got stuck there because the hotel was fully booked and all the guests already checked in. But the front desk people were very, very sorry. When I wanted to tell the staff about the table I wanted to book for dinner (a tradition of ours full of good and bitter-sweet memories gathered over the years) I was informed that making such reservations was no longer possible. When I pointed out that the room I got was not what I paid for and that this stay was off to a bad start, the front desk told me that they would do their utmost. Come dinnertime, the Maître D´ shows us to a table which is not the one I wanted. Fine. No other tables available, I guess. They did their best. Except they didn’t, as I soon found out, because much better-placed tables got freed only minutes after we arrived. When I spoke to the Maitre D’, his contempt could not have been more obvious. Those tables are needed for other guests (so it is possible to book tables, just not for me) and anyway we are already sitting and we should be happy where we are. I pointed out that it is possible to move guests, at which point the Maitre D’ simply turned away and left me there. Never in my life have I seen such disdain. I was shocked. Complaints to the front desk didn’t help. Lots of nice words and head bobbing full of understanding and kindness, but no real efforts made. They promised to talk to the restaurant about what could only be a communication issue and to get back to us, which of course they never did. Foodwise, our starters were horrible and our main course barely passing. And all of this cost us the tidy sum of SEK 4,200 for one night in a hotel room which was not of the type we ordered, access to the hotel swimming pools, and a bad dinner made even worse by the Maître D’ with the wort attitude I have seen in my life. Upon checkout, we found out that we had the honor of being asked to settle the whole bill, because long-standing loyal guests like us be damned, I guess. So don’t bother with this place; Gothenburg has better hotels and restaurants to offer.

Not at all happy with the experience. No consideration to special requests or notes due to allergies. We felt like we were always expected to pay more. Not recommended if you're looking for a nice relaxing experience.. the last thing we felt was "relaxed".

Will not recommend this resort. They called us only one hour before checkin and told us that the room we had already paid for was not available. We were already on our way from Oslo. They offered us dinner, nothing else. We got another type of room which was smaller and had no air conditioning ! No refund of money. Even though the access to pool was included in the room, the cabana cost kr 500-800 for a few hours. They prefer to have cabanas empty either than let the hotel guests use it while available.

Really enjoyed our three days and nights at Sankt Jörgen Park. We took advantage of a golf package which gave us dinner, bed, breakfast and a round of golf. The hotel is very Nicely decorated and includes a highly rated spa. Within the hotel, things are fairly quiet during the day, so look for lunch at the golf club. Our room was small but modern and comfortable. A little on the warm side as summer approaches and our room didn’t have individual aircon control… that I could find. Slept with the window open. The food at the hotel is fabulous. Breakfast is varied, fresh and accommodates all dietary needs. Dinner was amazingly good. Very high quality food. We were offered a choice of three entree, main and dessert choices. We used the spa (not sure of price) one afternoon. We were given a bag of toiletries to use alongside the various steam, sauna and hot and cold soaking baths. There’s a beautiful indoor pool with relaxation beds. There are also two outdoor pools with sun beds and a poolside bar for hotel residents to use for free. The golf was great. We hired clubs and ended up with brand new Ping clubs, which we loved. Don’t be fooled by what looks like a “short” course on paper. In reality it’s long. We covered about 6 miles (15,000) steps. There are some very hilly sections as well. On the whole it’s flat but when you do find a hill, it’s steep and challenging. Very pretty course with lots of water and birds. At the end we took advantage of the lunch at the club house. For about 180sk you can have a meal with salad bar, bread, water and light beer included. The salads are great and lots of it. The meat was very nicely cooked. There is ample seating indoor and outside. Overall, I would say, definitely find some time to visit this lovely hotel and golf resort. It’s only 20 mins from central Gothenburg. About 300 sk in a taxi. There are conference faculties here as well. Thanks! Tracy

We stayed at St Jörgen Park for a couple of days to finish off our Sweden road trip. All in all we had a nice stay. The pool area and the surroundings of the hotel are very nice. One thing that was a bit intransparent for us was the fact that you needed to pay extra to get access to some additional spa area. All in all still a nice stay though.

The positive: The location was excellent. The room was practical and nice layout, with a small pentry. The negative: Check-in was very slow, and on-line check in did not work at all (due to maintenance). Despite having called earlier to announce very late arrival with two children, the sofa bed was not made at all, there was not even a mattress. Took a lot of time to get it done. We had to ask to get the room cleaned, despite not opting out of it. Even then the room was not cleaned half of the days. Constantly too few bath towels and ran out of toilet paper completely. The sofa bed for the kids was uncomfortable (and our kids are not very picky). Breakfast was in the basement ball room without windows, not inspiring at all even though there were omelettes freshly made. Dirty dishes. Long queues for the two available coffee machines. On the website it states that there are goodie bags for children upon check-in. These do not exist, however we were given a nice box of chocolate as compensation. A Whittard paper bag with a large box of tea that we had bought in Covent Garden disappeared from the room, we assume it was accidentally thrown out with the garbage on one of the days we did get cleaning??? However, we tried to contact housekeeping as well as the hotel on the day we left and also twice by email afterwards and have not recweived any response whatsoever. Very disappointed.
