Göreme Cave Lodge

Great place to stay!!! Goreme cave lodge was an amazing place. The owner and his family were the best. Friendly and very welcoming. They even got me a cake for my birthday which made my stay even more special. The hotel is at a great location. Restaurants and shops are just minutes away. They help you with everything. Car service , balloons, etc. the roof top was great. Got to see the balloons early on the morning. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

There are a lot of choices for hotels in Cappadocia, and more specifically, cave hotels in Goreme, but you cannot go wrong staying at Goreme Cave Lodge. Small lodge with only 13 rooms which means a level of personalized service that wont get in many other places. Rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything you needed as well as being quiet. Also had an A/C unit that can go heat or cold air which you dont see in a lot of places. Morning breakfast is good and the cooks will do eggs to order. Great elevated location with a nice rooftop seating area which is great for watching the balloons in the early morning. What sets this place apart is the staff - family owned and run for years - they are there 24/7 to assist in anything you need be it a towel for the pool (which we hit one warm day and it was so refreshing) or setting up pre-coordinated or bespoke excursions in the area. Their communication prior to arrival was excellent via WhatsApp as they coordinated our airport transfer and our balloon ride (which is the whole reason everyone goes there anyway). This took out the worry we had with picking the right companies for our excursions. They literally made our holiday easy and worry free. You will not regret staying here!!

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. Good breakfast, clean rooms and the trips they recommended were high quality. We had a great stay here and highly recommend this hotel! It’s one of the newer hotels in the area. Centrally located in Göreme with everything in walking distance.

There was a very homey and warm feeling about the service here. The manager, and staff in general, were very attentive to our needs and definitely made us feel comfortable at all times. The rooms are nice with stone decorations and a bedframe seemingly built into the ground. The rooms I got was also spacious. The hotel is close to the city center and most things are walking distance, including many restaurant and shopping options, museums etc. Many people enjoy the hot air balloon activity in this town, and in the mornings, there is a splendid view of the procession from a classically Arabian-decorated rooftop. I would highly recommend this hotel if you ever visit Cappadocia .

We loved everything about this family owned hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location, the breakfast was incredible, the room was amazing and everyone working there went above and beyond. The view of the hot air balloons was a magical experience from the rooftop. One of our favorite places ever!!

From the very moment we arrived everything was perfect! We were greeted so warmly, offered tea and told about the area. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. The staff were super attentive and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and looked after and even brought us fresh fruit each afternoon!. The breakfast was a lovely mix of hot and cold food. The rooftop sitting area was a fabulous place to relax and especially to watch the balloons I would highly recommend Göreme Cave Lodge, they have given us some beautiful memories to take away

New hotel with beautiful rooms and excellent customer service. The staff was always friendly and took care of all the little things so you could just relax. The hotel is located near the town center and they will help you set up any tours you might want to do.

The hotel is very good and next to the goreme center. The owner, his Sun and the rest of the team are very polite and helped us with everything that we needed. Also gave many recommendations about the tours in Capadocia. Definetely the hospitality is the best for this hotel

This hotel is an absolute gem. It was one of the most unique and wholesome places we’ve stayed in and the service was standout. We recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Cappadocia. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to restaurants and shops, with ample parking. The cave rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. The pool is perfect for a dip after a day’s exploring. And in the mornings, the rooftop deck is perfect to see the hot air balloons at sunrise. The service of all the staff is what leads me to write this review as it was so standout. They are incredibly friendly, engaging and kind. Thank you for graciously accommodating our very late check in after a delayed flight, helping us book our hot air balloon flight, the nightly fruit deliveries, fresh breakfast cooked every morning, and Turkish coffees! We very much had a memorable experience here and hope you and your cats all keep well. We hope to come back! Teşekkürler!
