Amazing location. We stayed for two nights and upgraded our stay by paying extra. Had a relaxing stay, we wanted to extend our stay but hotel staff didn’t really helped us to offer a good deal. That was the only disappointment rest everything was perfect.

Great customer service at the desk, in the restaurant, and even by the cleaners. I would definitely come back again!

The location was fantastic, overlooking the sea. Bed was comfy with good service. Downside was the room we had as was very noisy with the music over the weekend, especially on Saturday and was next door to the service or staff maintenance room and was very noisy with staff being in and out fir supplies. Would stay again but would avoid room 515

Was good decent size room only thing I can pick on is their happy to charge extra for kids but the don’t even bother supplying extra towels or cups or anything.

Looking out to sea or to the mountains, the view is always grand. Comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms and great gym. Loved the heated pool, when heating the spa is good (but i think children under 10 shouldn't be allowed in) but sauna is a bit blah. An easy access pricelist in the room for the minibar would be good. Staff are very courteous and helpful. I enjoy staying here.

Good service , good location . Good cafe downstairs . Nice swimming pool .  The piano in the lobby is just for display is a shame , the front doorman is not very patient. Could do better.

Amazing location and staff is even better. Rooms could use a refresh, but were clean and comfortable. I’d stay again for sure.

Great location where jogging or walking along the beach anytime as long as no rain

This is a beautiful Hotel in a fantastic location. It is truly superb however my experience with the staff was below par. I had to ask the cleaner not to talk incessantly and loudly outside my room at 8am in the morning. Breakfast was sloppily served and the breakfast buffet area was disjointed so people and plates are bumping, the omelette ordering system wasn't explained and the staff looked at me like I was stupid and causing them inconvenience. The pancake maker needs servicing. The CEO of the hotel was talking to his staff at 10:15 am which was 15 minutes before breakfast service stopped. I recognised him from his picture on the TV in the room saying how privileged the hotel was to have us as a guest, however he didn't smile at his guests or stop and say hello and ask perhaps how our experience was. He was aloof and disinterested and I think that is how his staff act too, eg the cleaner was not genuinely sorry for causing the early morning noise, nor was the reception staff truly respectful when they allowed a one hour room use extension but forgot to apply the extra time to the key lock so I was locked out and had to come down 8 floors to rectify get access to the room. The hotel has an offer that if you do not get your room serviced on a 2 night stay then a $10 food voucher applies. Well, that exercise turned out to be like stealing gold. I was eligible for $20 as I had books two rooms but staff were really reluctant to acknowledge this offer. It's a great idea as it saves them costs to launder sheets and towels and also saves costs to clean the room and replenish toiletries. I don't know why they appeared so reluctant to honor it. Except for staff and customer service this hotel would receive a five star rating from me but now only a three and a half.

It was a great experience staying at stamford for 4 nights. I am very happy with everything. Improvement: tv's could improve to have YouTube or netflix however you will be mostly out during the day and even later in the evening.

All staff were helpful and friendly. Housekeepers would leave lovely notes and treats. We felt well looked after. The hotel is right across from the beach and offers amazing views. Lots of bars and restaurants are also nearby. We were travelling as a couple and thought it was perfect. There were also lots of families staying there too. Highly recommended!

Zac, on the front desk, worked each day of my stay of 7 nights. He has an excellent manner and sense of professionalism for a fella so young. Well done mate. Rick

Stamford Plaza in Glenelg offered a comfortable stay with exceptionally friendly staff. While the room was comfortable, the hotel itself felt somewhat basic for a 5-star property. Overall, a pleasant experience, but nothing too extraordinary.

Very good experience in Glenelg on a rainy day especially the buffet breakfast I really like the poached egg
