"I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you are looking for a genuine 5-star experience. Despite its classification, the level of service and overall management are far from what one would expect from such a property. The director is unprofessional and rude, often mistreating the staff, which creates an unwelcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. One of the most disappointing aspects is the parking: guests are charged €40 per day for a public parking lot that actually costs only €15 if accessed directly. This feels like a clear rip-off. The food offering is equally poor. There is no real restaurant, even though the hotel has been open for more than two years. The few items available, such as the so-called “focaccia di Recco” sold at €25, are frozen products prepared not by chefs but by porters, bartenders, or even receptionists. This is unacceptable for a property that claims to be 5-star. The only real value of this hotel lies in the beauty of the historic building itself, which is undeniably charming. But beyond that, the high price is absolutely not justified by the quality of the services provided. In conclusion, Palazzo Durazzo does not live up to its promises or its advertised luxury status: questionable management, inflated prices, and poor quality. You are much better off choosing another hotel in the area where hospitality and transparency are truly valued."

"Everything about the hotel was perfect. Spacious room with a huge bathroom and impeccable cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent sweet breakfast. Perfect location if you want to visit the aquarium and the historic center. The only downside is that the parking lot has an entire floor dedicated to electric cars, but the charging stations weren't working. Luckily, there's one right under the hotel!"

"Excellent location halfway between the beach and the historic center. Public services present to get to the center otherwise a nice walk of about 20 minutes to reach the ancient port. Road always straight and easy. The room was tidy and clean, and very spacious. Comforts present: safe, fridge, climate TV, wardrobe, phone, including towels. Everything working and clean. Possibility of car rental. Possibility to have breakfast in the room. At the entrance to the door there are steps and then there is a lift to reach the floor. Excellent explanations for key collection via video. Simple and understandable. Excellent response time for booking, fast and without problems. Thank you for your kindness when requesting advice on places or restaurants, always with timely responses! I will definitely be back!! Thank you !!"

"a very well managed hostel, you can see their experience in this business, as they thought about everything. the dormatory room is spacious and clean. breakfast is good too. the staff is helpful and the whole place has a good vibe. bike storage is available too,on one inside terrace (not accessible for outsiders) only downside, the area didn't feel safe, got nearly attacked by some ***** *** on the street nearby, but that's of course not the hostels fault. would definitely pick this hostel chain again when going to Italy."
