Bu mekan da daha önce de kaldım, böyle bir olumsuz durumla karsilacagimi düşünmedim iki günlük ödeme yaptım birinci gün yol yorgunluğu vardı bize verilen odanın üstünde gece boyunca Tavan yıkılıyor tarzında gürültüden uyuyamadık bu durumu görevli ye bildirdik, planımız gereği şehir disindayiz müdürü bizi telefon la arayarak odanızı değiştirelim ama eşyaları bosalmamiz gerek, biz izin vermedik, şahsi eşyalarımızı başkası müdahale etmesin dedik, müdür yapılacak bir şey yok ben tüm odaları vermek zorundayım dedi ikinci gün yukarı odadan gelen gürültüden bir saniye uyumak mümkün değildi, biz gece 22.00 de başka bir otele gittik, yorumu sizlerle bırakıyorum

Beautiful old property overlooking Gaziantep Castle and near to Copper Bazaar and old market. Large courtyard with comfortable seating area to chill out and relax after sightseeing. Great breakfast with lovely savoury pastry’s and Katmer. Eggs were delicious and homemade chips on request. Great welcome from Janette who was always cheerful and happy to assist. Little English spoken as is normal in this part of Turkey but used Google translate and had no problem. Furnishings in bedrooms a little simple but adequate.

Overall the staff let us feel at home and take a good care of us specially at the breakfast table. The location of the place was very close to everything Overall we enjoyed our stay.

For us this was the best hotel in Eastern Turkey. A beautiful converted building, a fantastic courtyard, lavish breakfast and the friendliest staff imaginable. Fully recommended!

The family and staff who manage Ali Bey Konagi are most hospitable, lovely people whose only wish is to make your stay a most comfortable and memorable experience. Many things to enjoy: everthing is clean and fresh, the breakfast is an amazing spread of jams, cheeses, olives, breads, the trees and birds in the courtyard, in fact the enclosure offers a calm and cool respite from the bustling markets outside. Perfect location as well. We highly recommend Ali Bey Konagi!

Opposite the Castle in the old town this securely locked enclave is reminiscent of the Moroccan"riads". Inside a walled courtyard are tables and sitting areas; rooms are around it and also over the street in another building. Being there is a slight problem as you need to be let in in both directions - although response to a bell is immediate from the friendly staff. Rooms are all different and our party had mixed experiences. Lots of "museum pieces" in the rooms and public areas. Breakfast is fixed for all at 0830 - and is excellent.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and should have extended for one more night to see more of the city. Staff was the friendliest, most helpful you can imagine, anticipating every need. Book the upstairs rooms if you can. It is worth the difference for the authentic "konak" experience. Lovely location right below the castle, and walkable to the markets but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Felt like a hidden gem! Will definitely go back.

I simply loved everything at this hotel. The staff were incredibly amazing. The breakfast was beyond delicious. The design and architecture of the building made me feel that I went back 100 years ago. Highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff! Good breakfast! But… Don’t look for comfort, amenities you may find at other hotels. No nightstands, poorly airconditioned, very run down bathroom. Toilet seat fell off our first day. Shower tiles broken. One wall of the shower was plywood that was moldy.

Öncelikle kaldığımız oda yeteri kadar temiz ve konforluydu hiçbiri sıkıntı yaşamadık sadece çatı katında olduğumuz ıcin fazla sıcaktı klimayı hep acık tuttuk. Çalışanlardan Cennet Ablayı cok sevdik. Samimi oluşu, guler yüzlülüğü ile bizi karşıladı o yuzden kendisini de cok sevdik. Kahvaltılar da guzeldi normaldi yani. Bahçesi güzeldi cardaklari olan bir bahceye sahipti. Merkezi konumda olmasi ulasim rahatligi acısından cok iyiydi.

We stayed here for 1 night as a last minute change occured in our travel plans. The staff were the friendliest and the most attentive people ever! Our room was pristine! Loved the spacious and airy interiors. Breakfast was also delicious and was prepared by the very smily Cennet Teyze ❤️ I wish we got to stay here for longer as it was a last minute find for us, but will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Gaziantep. Thank you to the whole team at Ali Bey Konak ☺️

It's an old mansion but needs a lot of care. Sound insulation is terrible. You sleep altogether with the other rooms like a big family😄. Very close to the old city we which is convenient but look for other options if you need a quiet place.

Lovely clean hotel, very friendly staff. The Turkish breakfast served was the best, homemade jam's was absolutely delicious. The hotel is located in a very centre of old city.
