(Understandable, because this is also a day-trip onsen, so the hotel needs to ensure all tabs are covered before letting guests go.) Facilities were old but well-maintained, although my room window couldn't be closed without force. Wide variety of baths to choose from, and convenient hours. Note that there is no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in guestrooms, as this is an onsen facility - all soaps and bath amenities are provided in the onsen area. Several onsite restaurants providing many food options, which made up for the lack of vegetarian-friendly options around the area."

"Although the building itself felt a bit old, it was well-maintained and very clean. The baths rotated between morning and evening, allowing us to enjoy two wonderful open-air hot springs. The water was soft and very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was delicious and satisfying. I was also touched by the thoughtfulness of the staff at the breakfast venue's reception. All the staff, from the parking attendant to the front desk and the dining area, were very kind. However, for families who eat a lot, dinner might be a little insufficient."

"When I first arrived the hotel (on a Saturday) I did not see a single guest in the lobby level and for a while I wondered if I was the only person staying here until the dinner time. There was something unique about the hotel that made it super quiet and low key, that you would rarely see or hear others although they play music like many Japanese hotel so it doesn't feel deserted. This, plus the fact that the hotel is upscale, made me feel like a very special guest. I picked the western styled Twin Room. The benefit of this room is that it's on the high floors. Since this is one of the highest building in the region I got a very good view on the surrounding countryside and mountains. The room was spacious and while it was slightly old,felt upscale and comfy. The traffic around the hotel basically disappeared at night so it was very quiet. The food was also good. For dinner they offered something like Japanese fusion food, which is pretty rare in Japanese hotels. The staff was super nice and wrote multiple notes in English explaining things to me. I never stayed in a hotel in Japan that they will do it this far. They also had a all-you-can-eat dessert bar which was pretty tasty. On my second night the chef made a completely customized menu for me so I wouldn't eat the any of the same food again, which was also very cool. The breakfast buffet was slightly less impressive and was focused on Japanese options, but still a good one. The restaurant had huge windows looking at the garden outside, while they decorate nicely. The hot spring bath wasn't very big, but on my both nights of stay I mostly got them for myself as this is a truly quiet hotel. The only downside of this place is that there was little to do outside of hot spring bath. It's located in a quiet suburban residential area that can only be accessed by car or shuttle bus (which doesn't require reservation but has limited services). The hotel is a bit expensive so people expecting actions may not like it so much. But if you are looking for a quiet, slow and graceful stay, I think this hotel is a wonderful option. Note that there are other hotels with very similar names in this region. Read carefully before you book."

"This inn is known for its buffet. While it was praised for its wide variety of dishes, it exceeded my expectations. With 10 different types of hot pot dishes alone, trying them all is absolutely impossible. I chose the Yamanashi hot pot, based on the ingredients of the popular chicken giblet stew. There were also many other thoughtfully prepared side dishes. As Yamanashi Prefecture is a fruit kingdom, the fruit was delicious."

"The staff were very friendly, and the instructions we received at check-in were clear and easy to understand. The building is not new, but the faucets and other amenities have been replaced and are well-maintained, making it comfortable. The parking lot was full, so I expected the breakfast area to be crowded, but it wasn't crowded at all, and I was able to eat at my own pace. The food is presented well, so perhaps it's because it's quick to get. The rice and miso soup are delicious, so be careful not to overeat."

"Although this hot spring hotel has some history, it is well maintained. From the room or the viewing platform on the top floor, you can see a series of mountain views...beautiful! The room is well-equipped and clean. What's great is that at this price (more than a thousand Hong Kong dollars), one room and two meals are absolutely impeccable. Although the dinner was not luxurious, the tableware used was very Kaiseki style. I went to Japan three times after the full shutdown. The hot spring hotels that cost more than 3,000 yuan and stayed in are no longer the same as before. I have seen a few semi-self-service hotels with no waiters, and I am disappointed. The breakfast arrangement is Japanese style + semi-buffet, which is very good. Overall it's top-notch!"

"The hotel rooms are very modern and in good sanitary condition. The rooms are equipped with a massage hot spring bathtub, which makes it very convenient to take a bath in the room! It was exquisite and delicious. It was very comfortable to enjoy it in a separate room The breakfast has a wide variety of options. It is a very good buffet breakfast The public hot springs are well-equipped, and you can also book a private hot spring online. It is equipped with shower facilities, which is very convenient. "The facilities seem a little old, but the staff are hospitable and the place is clean, so I think it's a good place to stay. The room is a Japanese-style room. When I checked in, the futon was laid out, but it's nice to be able to lie down right away. The toilet and sink are by the window, so it's hard to use because the table and refrigerator get in the way. However, the refrigerator and air conditioner were good and cold. The hot spring seems to be from a private source, and it's clear but a little slimy, which is nice. The heated one can get hot, but the cold one might be closer to the source. The cooler one was also slimy. There is also an open-air bath, which is nice. I was glad that I happened to be able to see the fireworks at night. It was short, though. This time, I went to see the peaches and grapes, but it seems there is also cormorant fishing, so next time I might come to see the cormorant fishing."

A friendly woman at reception kindly assisted me. An attendant guided me to my room while carrying my luggage. There was a pond with many beautiful Nishikigoi carp swimming around, and they sold food so I could feed them♪ 🔻 [Barrier-Free Access] ③ It was mostly accessible, but there were some small steps here and there. 🔻 [Room] ③ A very spacious and beautiful Japanese-style room with an outstanding sense of openness. 🔻 [View from the Room] ② Mountains in the distance, with only the peak of Mt. Fuji visible. The rest was the cityscape. 🔻 [Hot Springs] ④ There were two baths: a wine bath and a small private bath on a higher floor where you could soak while enjoying the view. The water was quite warm, and soaking in the fragrant reddish-purple tub was a very satisfying way to soothe my fatigue. The open-air bath was also very pleasant♪ 🔻 [Food (Dinner)] ④ We had dinner in a private room. This was the last meal of the year♪ Each dish was very stylish. There was a wide selection, including Koshu beef and crab, and they were all delicious. 🔻 [Hotel Shop] ③ The shop was small and mainly stocked local specialties and items related to Takeda Shingen. Being in Yamanashi Prefecture, there was a wide selection of Shine Muscat processed products. 🔻 [Cooking scene (breakfast)] ③ Since we visited during the New Year holidays, the breakfast scene was different from usual, with New Year's dishes that were a delight to the eyes♪ 🔻 [Seeing off on the way home] ③ We paid in the lobby, and the attendant carried our luggage to our car. Then, we had our photo taken at the entrance♪ Overall score: 3 🎉"
