Hotel Flora

We had a basic room (located in a smaller building of this hotel), which was very very dirty and dilapidated. It was just enough to have a look at stained bed-side lampshades (see pictures) when entering the room… Dust everywhere and an army of small ants in a corner under the window. The shower & toilet room was a the dirtiest I've ever seen. In short - unsanitary. And pictures speak here better than words, please have a look at them...... Just looking at this shower made me sick. I was only able to wash myself using the lowest shower head intended for the feet, because it was the only part (out of 3) with more-or-less properly functioning jets. In my opinion, the shower room was never properly cleaned given that lime, fungus and dust were seen everywhere, with sticky shower cabin floor and black toilet rim. Another surprise awaited us just before midnight when we were woken up by a terrible compressor sound outside and started to suffocate in our room. Looking outside, we saw beneath a guy armed with respirator and hose while sprinkling some stinky stuff along the walls of the building. We called the reception, where they calmly (= rudely) explained to us that a mosquito extermination was going on and it would only last for half an hour! Surprisingly, there was no advance warning given to us about this guests’ disinfection operation and we slept with the windows open. So we had a health disorder and could not sleep half of night .... Finally, it was not possible to make a claim to the hotel administrator, because she/he was not at work at the time of our check-out (10.00-11 a.m). So it's the worst our impression from Frescati, definitely we are not going to visit this disinfected hotel again.

It's a fancy, well smelling exterior - but that's all. Rooms are not at all close to pictures and are noisy from old fans. Not to mention there are wires with sketcky electrical installations hanging over the room and bed. It says the hotel has wifi but it's in theory. I reality the wifi is terrible and not working. In annex the reach is one small dot and disconnecting all the time. Free parking as promised. No possibilites for café or other refreshments. Breakfast 24 euro extra for two perons. I would not recommend this to anyone and will choose another hotel next time.

Superbe immeuble de dehors… mais cela s arrête là. Passe encore que la salle de Bain était ridiculement petite et qu il fallait faire des acrobaties pour s asseoir sur la cuvette des toilettes sans toucher le lavabo… mais ce qui ne passe vraiment pas c est la saleté trouvée précisément sur l assise de la cuvette! J ai du désinfecter moi même : Intolérable pour n importe quel hôtel., qui plus est un 4 étoiles , je n y retournerai pas, et j ai compris du chauffeur de taxi le lendemain que l établissement était en vente, ce qui expliquerait le manque de soin peut-être : mais cela demeure tout de même inacceptable!

Siamo stati per un weekend in questo bell’albergo. Si entra e subito c’è un bel prato curato con parcheggio Interno. L’albergo è a pochi passi dal centro a cui si arriva con una piacevole passeggiata. La nostra stanza era ampia, con soffitto decorato e stucchi. La sala colazione è accogliente con dolce e salato. Personale gentile e disponibile. Siamo stati bene e ritorneremo. PS abbiamo segnalato qualche accorgimento riguardante l’ordinaria manutenzione, niente che non si possa risolvere. Consigliato!

Abbiamo soggiornato solo due notti presso l'hotel Flora ma è stato anche tanto per il servizio ricevuto. Avevamo prenotato un junior suite con vasca idromassaggio ma ci siamo trovati in una tripla/family room con doccia e con delle finestre che non potevano essere aperte perché davanti c'era un mobile TV, una poltrona e uno scrittoio. Il televisore funzionava con solo con Sky e era talmente datato che non manteneva la programmazione dei canali, ed eri costretto a riprogrammare ogni volta che cambiati canale. Nel frigo dell'hotel al ns arrivo non abbiamo trovato nemmeno una bottiglia di acqua ( in camera eravamo in 3).Abbiamo aspettato il giorno dopo per capire se fosse stata solo una dimenticanza....ma niente hanno pulito superficialmente la camera ma non hanno rifornito nulla. In camera era presente anche un bollitore per poter preparare delle bevande calde, peccato che non c'erano nemmeno le bacchettine per girare un po lo zucchero nelle due scarse bustine di the che avevano lasciato. Ma la cosa più grave è stato lo scarico del bagno che non caricava acqua. Lo abbiamo segnalato due volte ma nulla. Non potevamo andare in bagno perché non potevi scaricare il wc! Morale, abbiamo preferito anticipare la partenza di qualche ora per arrivare finalmente a casa erutilizzare i servizi igienici! Al momento del pagamento e delle segnalazioni la receptionist, che non aveva colpe, non ha neppure chiamato il responsabile, non dico per uno sconto che dal ns punto di vista era scontato, ma almeno per delle scuse ufficiali. Ci spiace dire che il servizio non è da 4 stelle , non lo consiglieremo e non ci torneremo.

bellissimo hotel elegante , suggestivo, solare , in posizione strategica a due passi dal centro dove si trovano bar, ristoranti mercati, cinema , negozi per shopping ed altro.... le mie colazioni, gli aperitivi e le cene sono sempre partite da qui , da questa cittadina e il mio luogo per soggiornare è hotel flora
