We stayed with friends for 7 nights. What a wonderful site! All the staff were friendly and so very helpful. On arrival our Jockey wheel had broken so we couldn't get our caravan onto the pitch. A lovely member of the team helped my partner and our friend get our caravan safely onto the pitch by lifting and pushing it with a sort of skateboard thing. The kids really enjoyed riding around on their bikes and scooters. The free entertainment in the park by a company called Rascals Entertainment was brilliant. The kids loved it, they did a mini Olympic games session where they took part in alsorts of games. The main shower block is where we showered etc and they were super clean and well stocked with toilet roll and hand soap. The showers where the warmest showers we've ever had when using on site facilities so that was a pleasant experience for a change rather than being a Luke warm shower The dog walking area was great to be able to let our pooch off lead for a run. Only downside is some people let it down by not picking up their dogs poop! Which I think is disgusting! Especially when children go in there. But that's no reflection on the site or their staff. Just inconsiderate dog owners poo bags are even provided at the gate so there's no excuse!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our friends! Stayed here for my 50th, the end of December, for a couple of nights. From arrival to departure nothing was to much trouble. Every staff member was polite, cheerful and helpful. The surroundings are luxurious and I was blown away by our spotless room, with access to a patio, huge comfortable bed and large bathroom with fantastic bath and shower. Food was excellent both at breakfast and evening meal. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated. Explored the spa which was so relaxing with many rooms to explore. Close to towns Knaresborough and Harrogate. Can't wait to return and stay longer.
