My friend and I booked this hotel during our stay in Florence, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. The location is fantastic—within walking distance to all the main attractions and conveniently close to the train station, which made getting around so easy. The hotel itself is charming, with rooms that beautifully reflect the character and elegance of old Florence. The view from our room was stunning, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. We were warmly welcomed by Anna, who greeted us with a radiant smile and truly exceptional hospitality. She made us feel right at home and was one of the highlights of our stay—her kindness and helpfulness left a lasting impression. Overall, this hotel was a perfect choice for our trip, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend!

An absolutely beautiful, historic property in a quiet part of Florence. Close to all the action but away from the crowds. The staff are lovely and very attentive and helpful. The breakfast option was very good and a nice way to start the day. Highly recommend!

Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the Boboli gardens. Hermann at the front desk was lovely and attended to our every need, even after hours. Delicious trattorias all within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Florence!

Sloppy cleaning and reception, room and bathroom functions out of order. Security lacking in case of incidents. Will not come back. Yes cheap but not 3 stars in real and not for handicapped. I will not recommend any more this lodging to friends.

notice that this hotel is an historic place. So you better search before reserve. I wouldn't stay again. I appreciate the kindness of the reception guys. As a historic building there is no elevator and rooms are quite cold. It's a really three stars hotel. Everything is clean but bed aren't that confortable; location is just great.

Check-in was easy, a bit difficult to unload baggage on the street, but that's more an Italian road engineering issue than the hotel's. The location is perfect, and really the best thing about this hotel. Across from one of Giardino di Boboli's entrances and on the best side of the river Arno! The receptionist/owner was very kind, gave us recommendations for dinner, although we had already decided on where to go so we didn't take him up on them. Good sleep, clean room and bathroom. Quite hard mattress, but we didn't mind. Easy check-out and we could keep our baggage there during our walk around the city until the afternoon.

We stayed there for 5 nights. It would have been six but since the hotel is small they couldn't accomodate the extra night we needed to book a day in advance. Glad we made the initial reservation. Staff was very helpful and cheerful. The foom was great, had a garden view, large and clean. It is right next to the Biboli Gardens and just down the street from the Pitti Museum. Great location. About a 10ish minute walk to the Fancy bridge. It was very quiet in the hotel. This is an old building so it does have some indiosincracies not found in new hotels or complete remodels. That is part of the charm. It feels more like Italy than Holiday Inn. We enjoyed our stay and plan on staying here again when we visit Firenzi.

Well, I'm sure we would have enjoyed our stay at Annalena tremendously, if the hotel hadn't cancelled our June reservation in order to take advantage of the sky-high rates rooms are going for in Florence. Yes, we got bumped for someone who will pay more money.

Wonderful old palace in the centre of Florence. Very friendly reception. Aircondition. I really loved the place and will come back. Very rich breakfast. Lovely and caring rooms. Everything very clean and cared for. Pictures and sculptures interesting and beautiful.
