Hotel dekat Firenze Santa Maria Novella, Firenze

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is the best, right in the center of the city, walking distance to all attractions. Only very short walk if you are going to use the train. The hotel staff are lovely, specially the Italian doorman. We had a nice welcome gift on arrival and was upgraded to a bigger room. Can't wait to be back

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Good location with affordable price. We like to stay here, very close with train station Campo di Marte. And not so far from bus stop. Also near this hostel, there is supermarket. Very recomended 👍🏻

Ok and not bad, reasonable price Here is a 1000 word hotel review: Title: Luxurious Oasis in the Heart of the City Located in the bustling downtown of a major metropolitan area, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel is an urban oasis of sophisticated elegance and modern comforts. From the moment I stepped through the grand revolving doors, I was struck by the hotel's timeless grandeur and impeccable attention to detail. The lobby is a masterpiece of marble floors, sparkling chandeliers, and plush seating areas that exude an air of refined opulence. The staff greeted me warmly and efficiently checked me in, offering a refreshing glass of chilled lemonade as I completed the formalities. I was then escorted to my room, my anticipation building with each step. Upon entering the room, I was immediately impressed by the sheer size and luxurious furnishings. The king-sized bed, adorned with crisp linens and plush pillows, beckoned me to sink into its comfort. The sitting area featured a cozy armchair and ottoman, perfect for curling up with a book or simply enjoying the city view through the large windows. The bathroom was nothing short of breathtaking, with gleaming marble surfaces, a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower with multiple showerheads. Thoughtful amenities, such as plush robes, slippers, and high-end toiletries, added to the overall sense of indulgence. The room also featured a well-stocked minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, and a large flat-screen TV with a vast selection of channels. However, it was the attention to detail that truly set this room apart - the perfectly placed artwork, the elegant lamps, and the seamless integration of technology with the classic decor. As the sun began to set, I decided to explore the hotel's dining options. The Michelin-starred restaurant, helmed by a renowned chef, did not disappoint. The menu was a symphony of innovative flavors and exquisite presentation, each course a true delight for the senses. The sommelier's wine pairing recommendations elevated the dining experience, and the impeccable service from the attentive staff ensured that every moment was perfection. After dinner, I ventured to the hotel's luxurious spa, where I indulged in a deep tissue massage. The serene and tranquil atmosphere of the spa, combined with the skilled touch of the massage therapist, left me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. I then spent some time exploring the hotel's other amenities, including the state-of-the-art fitness center and the stunning indoor pool, complete with a retractable roof that allowed for year-round swimming. Throughout my stay, I was continually impressed by the Ritz-Carlton's commitment to excellence. The staff, from the concierge to the housekeeping team, were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Whether it was arranging a private car to take me to my meeting or providing a recommendation for a local must-see attraction, the service was impeccable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's central location, which allowed me to easily explore the vibrant city. Within a short walk, I discovered charming cafes, high-end boutiques, and bustling cultural landmarks. The Ritz-Carlton's concierge team was an invaluable resource, providing insider tips and arranging reservations to ensure I made the most of my time. As my stay drew to a close, I found it difficult to leave the plush comfort and refined elegance of the Ritz-Carlton. This hotel truly is a world-class destination, offering an unparalleled blend of luxury, service, and attention to detail. Whether traveling for business or pleasure, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel is an exceptional choice that will leave a lasting impression. I can't wait to return for my next visit.
