We are from California, US. My wife, and two kids stayed there in June of 2022. If you are tired of the touristy parts of Greece, this is your place. The food is homemade, authentic, and delicious. I wanted to invite myself into the kitchen to watch the action, but cooler heads prevailed. The facility is also quite beautiful, with expansive views everywhere. The nice woman, Anastasia, offered warm hospitality and really just superb meals. We ate both breakfast and dinner there. (hope I didn't screw up her name). My kids are somewhat picky eaters but they also loved the food. We were in Greece for 18 days; while some parts of Greece can feel like a "Greece theme park". this does not. We only stayed one night, as we were in kind of explorer mode, next time will stay a bit longer, especially if Anastasia will teach me how to make the kid pleasing loukoumades. Can't wait to return.

Δεν υπάρχουν λόγια να περιγράψω το faris hotel,ένα αληθινό διαμάντι τοποθετημένο στα 1000μέτρα υψόμετρο μέσα σε μια ήσυχη απέραντη έκταση απο καστανιές και καρυδιές.Τα δωμάτια είναι ευρύχωρα,ολοκαίνουργια και καθαρά, με θέα που σου κόβουν την ανάσα αφού η μια πλευρά του ξενώνα είναι προσανατολισμένη προς το αρσενικό βουνό (Ταυγετος)κι η άλλη προς στον απέραντο λακωνικό κάμπο κι ενίοτε την θάλασσα.Το φαγητό είναι εξαιρετικό,πολύ καλύτερο απο μαμαδίστικο,ιδιαίτερα προσεγμένο με τοπικά αγνά υλικά.Αλλα αυτό ,που κάνει τον ξενώνα να ξεχωρίζει είναι:η φιλοξενία,η αγάπη και το μεράκι του πατέρα της ιδιοκτήτριας,ο οποίος είναι πάντα πρόθυμος ανα πάσα στιγμή να σε εξυπηρετήσει.Δεν θα παραλείψω να ευχαριστήσω και την εκπληκτική ομάδα :Αναστασία-Μαρία-Κωνσταντίνο.Το faris hotel είναι φιλόξενο χειμώνα καλοκαίρι, είναι ιδανικό για ζευγάρια,οικογένειες και παρέες, αφού προσφέρει άπειρες επιλογές δραστηριοτήτων. Σίγουρα θα επανέλθω.
