However, the front desk service is excellent. The staff in the hot springs area are mainly local aunties; their Mandarin isn't very fluent, and their service awareness could use some improvement (though this might be to support local employment). The highlights are definitely the quality of the hot spring water and the beautiful environment. The restaurant prices are comparable to outside restaurants, and the food tastes authentic, clean, and hygienic. I would still choose this hotel for hot spring bathing."
