Loved this place, a little expensive but it was the Scotland Rugby Game so to be expected but we got a friendly welcome & a key to let us into our room & the front door & we found our room great, deffo quirky & comfortable & clean. My only quibble no pillow protectors on the pillows & no bottles of water…very minor. Was a bit worried about noise with being near the front door but everyone was respectful & apart from some noise above us it was really quiet. Room heated up so fast so be sure to switch off radiator. Breakfast was freshly cooked & tasty. Such a friendly & quirky place to stay. Thank you

Good location for those that like a walk, about 20mins to station although there are bus stops nearby to take you to centre. Plenty of choice in Tommy's breakfast room, both hot & cold options available (but must have a cooked one sometime). Quirky decor as everywhere you look is something different, with plenty antiques which made the place. Room we had was downstairs & was ideal size for the 2 over the 2 nights there. It had a new shower/bathroom. Room was comfortable, but needed just little tlc. There was a fridge & coffee machine. Good selection tv free veiw channels. Tommy the owner was very friendly & helpful, along with his assistant. Would if in Edinburgh would stay here again, even if just for the breakfast.

Excellent stay at this gorgeous and quirky little place in Edinburgh! My room was lovely, breakfast was plentiful and included in the price of my stay! I will definitely stay again here! I travel to Edinburgh often and l can honestly say it is the best B&B l have stayed in! Je reviendrai bientôt🏴🏴🏴❤️👍

Wonderful quirky guesthouse with Tommy, the fabulous host Very comfortable room, amazing breakfasts with a fantastic cold buffet and traditional Scottish or English breakfasts cooked to order. Great location with plenty of restaurants and bars a few hundred yards away for an evening meal. Would highly recommend.

A quirky guest house. The location is great, close to the rail station and then a short walk to the old town. Tommy the proprietor is very friendly and made the stay really enjoyable. He cooks a fabulous breakfast. 100% for price, location and ambience.

If you're looking for a run of the mill hotel, this guesthouse is not for you. If, however, you like quirky decor, friendly, interesting hosts and a delicious home cooked breakfast, then this is the perfect place. It's also perfectly located, being a short walk from the city centre yet nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our two night stay here.

A quiet room within a traditional character house. A lovely comfy bed & newly refurbished bathroom made for a sound night's sleep. A well equipped room. A fine breakfast cooked to order. Easy walking distance of the city, playhouse, John Lewis etc. A welcoming host.

We had a great stay at the Easy Claremont Guesthouse. Tommy is a very welcoming and friendly host, and the location is ideal - a short walk from Princes Street, but very quiet for a great night’s sleep after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfast was spectacular - full Scottish, with even a vegan version! There was a huge choice of continental breakfast too, with pastries, yoghurt, fruit and cereal.
