Wow. Simply wow. We were absolutely delighted. Fiona is a wonderful host, the room immaculate, the food delicious. Jimmy was kind and personable is the bet of ways. I can not recommend this B and B enough. Our room had everything needed and more. We look forward to coming back again!

Wonderful experience, great breakfasts. Was fun to try local food. Hosts were so kind and gave excellent suggestions and tips for enjoying Edinburgh. Definitely recommend. Stayed in a family room and beds were very comfortable. Thank you!!

We were in room 4 or 5 -- a lovely, quiet room with comfortable furnishings and a private patio. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the 30 min walk to Old Town, but there's a bus stop right across the street. Lots of restaurants on the way into town (Southpour was my favorite, but also enjoyed Rigatoni's for Italian and Old Bell Inn for basic pub food and fun environment). Excellent breakfast.

Best breakfasts in Scotland! Jimmy and Fiona are fabulous. The room was lovely and comfortable. Beautiful facility. Convenient access to buses going downtown. Our interactions with Jimmy and Fiona made our stay special. We felt welcomed to Scotland and well cared for. We will always cherish the memories of our stay in the Glenalmond House!

It's in a good location on the bus route making it easy to get into town. The room was on the small side. Jimmy was helpful and attentive. Breakfasts were good, with a nice choice of foods. USB ports for charging were helpful.

We just loved staying at Glenalmond House. Fiona and Jimmy were fabulous hosts. The breakfasts were amazing, with lots of variety. They suggested the Indian restaurant across the street, which had some of the best Indian food we've ever eaten. The bed was very comfortable. You could just hop on a bus to take you to the center of town. We hope to be back someday!

We had a wonderful B&B experience here. Jimmy & Fiona were the perfect hosts. They were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, with lots of choices. The B&B was beautiful and elegant. Our garden room was the most pleasant one we had on our trip. The super clean bathroom had plenty of hooks to hang necessities, and a spacious shower. The Glenalmond House is located on a bus line, making transportation into the town center very convenient. There are also several nice restaurants nearby.

We just finished 3 nights at the Glenalmond. The experience exceeded our expectations. Rooms and bathrooms were impeccable and every detail thought of. Jimmie’s breakfasts were a treat. Buses to downtown (not that far) are right outside the door. What else can I say…don’t hesitate to book here.

We stayed three nights at Glenalmond recently and were very impressed by this lovely house with its obliging and friendly hosts Jimmy and Fiona. The property is so comfortable with lovely furnishings and everything was spotlessly clean and absolutely immaculate. The breakfast menu was very varied - we ordered the night before - the food was freshly cooked to order and couldn't have been better. In fact the whole experience was faultless. Buses to the centre of the city and to the Botanic Gardens run every few minutes. A perfect venue in which to explore the city. Thank you Jimmy and Fiona. We hope to see you again.
