Ulasan Eden au Lac

We just stayed tow nights here on our way home from a week in the black forest in Germany. We arrived in pouring rain, but from the moment we arrived we felt the warmth of this hotel. As I approached with bags, the lady at reception ran to the door to open it for me, and I was greeted with a warm friendly smile, what a great start. We knew the restaurant and pool were not open at this tome of year, but the rest of the sap facilities were available. The room was lovely, and very comfortable, and the bliss of having a bath to soak aching muscles after the long walks. Every member of staff that we passed were friendly and always a smile. The breakfast room was just beautiful, and with a wonderful view too. The young waiter who looked after the room was very helpful without being invasive, also very helpful with information about the area, and helpful with translations of things we didn't understand, and even when he wasn't sure, he went out of his way to find answers for us. It was a trip to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and it really was the perfect place to stay. We had intended using the spa, but in the end we were too tired from all the walks, but we did have a look, and it was amazing, there really was everything you could want. I would recommend this hotel, and the lovely staff to everyone.

Fantastic location with a lot of amenities. The view from the patio and balcony is amazing. The interior is a little dated but clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly.

The owner likes to keep the rooms dated. Staff is excellent. Location is perfect. The toilets are so low, it's not 2023 and bathroom is very old. Breakfast nice, but not spectaculaire. The view and the pool is great. Close to the town. Nice town Wouldn't book it again for € 240,00 pro night. Expected more!

Very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. Excellent service, welcoming staff. Superb breakfast buffet. Clean. I have only good things to say about Hotel Eden au Lac.

The property is has panoramic views from every direction- it is a very clean and tidy property but the room we had was poor and certainly did not warrant a 5 star rating., the room had no air conditioning or ventilation of any kind other than opening the balcony door (which would not stay open on its own)- the bathroom had a glass see through door without any lock therefore no privacy within the room and no extractor fan or any for of ventilation. The wood frame double bed had two single mattress's which tended to leave a gap. The leisure facilities were good as was the gym. The bar never opened durring our stay.It was not worth the money charged.

Excellent quiet location…awesome pool/fitness complex…breakfast was superb and overlooked valley and village…a very definite repeat stay

Week end relaxant . Hôtel atypique ressemblant à un hôtel autrichien Old school mais avec du mobilier de qualité Tout était top . Peut être un soupçon trop cher pour les prestations et pas de clim dans la salle de sport et Ping pong .

This is a fun hotel, feels like throwback luxury. It is a bit outdated but in a very charming way. The food is high quality and they take service quite seriously. We enjoyed the spa amenities and we had a room with a beautiful view. The room was large and comfortable enough to spend lots of time in, which was great on rainy days.

Drie dagen gelogeerd in hotel Eden. Te voet naar echternach is geen probleem. Het hotel is prima. Ja gedateerd dat wel maar ruim schone kamers, vriendelijk personeel, prima ontbijtje. Medewerkers denken mee als je een vraag hebt. Een nadeel geen diner voor handen. Elk nadeel heb zijn voordeel. In echternach zijn, op loopafstand, voldoende goede restaurants beschikbaar (tips van TripAdvisor en van het hotel :) ). Al met al top

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage .Parken kostenlos.Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht .Frühstück ok aber auch nicht mehr.Dann ist das Positive schnell vorbei.Unser Zimmer war sehr alt und abgewohnt,es entspricht nicht mehr der heutigen Zeit(Z:313)Das Bad war muffig es roch nach Kanal.Eine Badewanne mit Sprudelbad konnte es nicht appetitlicher machen.Das Wasser in der Wanne floss nicht richtig ab,schreckliche Armaturen und viel Wasser kam auch nicht aus der angeblichen Regendusche.Einfach alles uralt und nicht einladend.Alter abgewohnter Teppichboden im Zimmer,keine Klimaanlage...man schwitzte sich zu Tode und dann im Sommer eine dicke Decke...wäre gut bei Minus-Temperaturen.Unbequeme grosse Kissen.Kein Restaurant !Also wir können dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen . Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte hier für 436€ .Absolut übertrieben !!!Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.
