Ulasan Dubrovnik Sweet House

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of May. The rooms were a good size, clean with air conditioning and right in the heart of Dubrovnik. The staff were really helpful with all our needs and made sure we were well looked after. The only real issue is the stairs getting to the apartment, we were at the end of a two week trip through Croatia so weren’t travelling light. If you just had a rucksack or small suitcase it would have been much easier. Only other issue was the shower was broke, and there’s not much soundproofing between the rooms above.

Beautiful location right in the middle of Old Town Dubrovnik. The property was perfect for what we needed. The decor was lovely. Small downside was that we could hear every footstep and conversation of the people above our room. Other than that we had the best stay and I would definitely recommend.

This place is perfect! The attention to detail, comfort, styling and cleanliness are outstanding! We were so pleased to find such a wonderful place to stay which was also in a great spot, so close to great restaurants and beautiful buildings. The owner clearly has excellent taste as the room was gorgeous! Thank you so much for creating so an idyllic place for guests to stay.

Friendly welcome. Lovely little apartment in the heart of the old town. Just one minute from the lively Buza Bar on the sea front and 4 minutes from Pile Gate at the entrance to the wall walk. Very clean and comfy all round. Good bathroom and shower. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again

The location of this accommodation is great, out of the way so peaceful but only a short walk to all the attractions. We had a swim everyday from Blaze beach bar on the outside of the walls, just a 30 second walk from the accommodation. We were however very disappointed with the communication in the lead up to arrival. We messaged the number provided to find out when the room would be available but had no responses even though it had been read on WhatsApp. When we arrived again we messaged and phoned but nothing. We ended up just arriving outside and hoping we would someone how be able to get in. It was very poor and added unnecessary stress. For the price paid this isn't acceptable. We did meet the owner the next day who said he was out of town the day we arrived.... Whilst the room is nice.... Considering no breakfast included and the lack of any cleaning or staff the room is incredibly over-priced. For better value for money stay just outside the old town.

Absolutely lovely room at a perfect location middle of Old Town. Tucked away in a stairway alley away from most noises. Clean, small and cozy room. If you dont mind all the stairs and somewhat small space its a perfect hotel for the price.

Excellent location. Host and Agency was very helpful. Apartment had a balcony. Rooms were tidy.

Amazing Location for exploring the Old City, lovely room and great service.

We were told to call before arriving. We did but no answer. We waited 30 minutes and called again then we got the owner. The internet door mechanism was not working, we were obliged to wait 40 minutes that someone comes. Then internet in room was not working. I called again and owner ask to relaunch wifi router. It s just not friendly the way it s done and we left the day after without any call etc. The room is nicely decorated BUT it's not a big queen size bed , it's 2 SEPARATE bed put close together and if you are a couple you have a hole in between. THIS IS NOT MENTIONNED IN THE DESCRIPTION. Last but not least the bell of the main church is at 10 meters and ring at 7 am ..... So bad experience but well renovated room.

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. What a fantastic location in the middle of the old town. There are a lot of steps to get to the accommodation if you’ve luggage to carry. The room (No 1) was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The only negative we had was that the walls are so thin you can hear everything. We were very unfortunate with two sets of people staying above us. The first were up from after 5, talking loudly, walking about and generally making noise. They checked out after our first night but we had another group who liked to party. So unfortunate we had little sleep the four nights we stayed. I managed to get ear plugs for our fourth night which thankfully helped but a little too late. So disappointing as otherwise the accommodation is perfect.

Our stay at Dubrovnik Sweet House was comfortable and clean. Very good location for the old city and very quiet. Would recommend.

The place, for all of you Game of Throne junkies, is located literally a stones throw from the stairs of shame. But its set back and quiet. Beware older folks or those with physical challnges, as there are a lot of sttep stairs you must clime to get to your room. Tone, and i mean tops of dining options within a 3 min. Walk too. The staff were quite responsive too. I give it a thumbs up stay. Ciao
