房間特別安靜（可能因為旅遊淡季），酒店的餐飲如早餐特別豐盛，窗外景色就是海灣。出行附近就有馬恩島博物館步行便利，島上公交需要自己查，總體而言都還挺好的。下次來還住！

非常不錯的酒店，風景漂亮，前天熱情幽默，各處都十分乾淨，離從機場過來的公交也近，非常推薦！

We had no choice where to stay as we were part of a package from Great Railway Journeys. The hotel has obviously undergone some fantastic modernisation. We were delighted with our sea view room which had had a recent refit. A super large 'glass en suite' which was like something out of a fashion brochure. A lovely large sea view room. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hanging space. It was beautifully clean and well presented. Well done, Room Service! They'd thought of everything to ensure our comfortable stay, there was even a shoe horn! The restaurant was first class. Very competent smiling food service staff who demonstrated good customer care skills and excellent food service skills that I thought had been long gone. Well done, Rob and his team! Breakfast was always very good freshly cooked every morning. The dinner menu showed a creative culinary team in the kitchen. Tasty and delicious dishes well presented and always on hot plates. This hotel was a pure delight…..well exceeding my expectations. Thank you, Claremont!

This is a lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. We were part of a group, but were treated as individuals throughout our stay. We had an issue with our room which was resolved by Michelle very efficiently. The food was excellent, with a choice for each course, and lovely waiting staff, especially Karen. Its situation is perfect for the town, the bus and the ferry, and a short walk to the electric railway or steam railway to Port Erin. If you can, get a front (sea) facing room, as there is no view in the back rooms.

Have stayed here a number of times over the years, most recently in August. (May24-Room #201 which an excellent sea facing) (Aug24-Room #206 which also great sea facing - though #201 is better) (Aug24-Room #105 small double facing inner atrium at back which has frosted window and no view). The hotel has a great location on the promenade in Douglas. There are no aircons so the rooms can get hot in summer. Hotel does provide a fan. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms clean, with toiletries provided. The breakfasts are included and the offering is great, with a selection of freshly cooked to order. Always get great attention from Michelle in the restaurant/lounge.

Excellent meals with good menu choice, ideal location and staff very helpful. Spotlessly clean and nice lounge. Rooms very comfortable but had to pay extra for front room with view. Well worth it. Apparently some rooms have no windows or blocked out.

The hotel feels slightly dated, but it has a great location on the Douglas promenade. My room was at the back of the hotel, there is no aircon so the room was warm, but a fan is provided. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, with toiletries provided. The breakfast was great, freshly cooked to order. A special shout out to Matthew, one of the servers, who has a great sense of humour.

I'd say overall a good hotel. Placed perfectly on the promenade for an early morning walk. Reception is clean and modern and the lounge area a great place to relax. The food, both Breakfast and evening meal were top class. Great, attentive service to boot. The room itself was decent. Two slightly negative observations. Throughout my 2 days there was a damp, musty smell emanating from the bathroom. Windows open during the day dealt with it. On the second day at 5.45 am there was an almighty bang and loud rattling banging which sounded like a boiler or pipes. I was at the back of the hotel which is also a little noisy. I will be back in September and will stay again however I will ask for a front facing room.

One night stay for business and we booked a "Business suite". It wasn't a suite - it was a room. There were two (pretty small) chairs and a desk. No lounging space. The shower room was immaculate but also pretty small - long and thin - but it did have a window. And the shower itself was good. The lit, magnifying mirror on the wall had hinges so loose that it would only point at the ceiling unless being held - so only one hand available for makeup - and it was mounted so high, and so far back that it was little use to me (at 5'7") but perfectly placed for my 6'4" husband! At the back of the building and all the windows were obscured glass so no view at all. The bed was a five foot double and very comfortable; we slept very well until just after 5am when there was a huge clattering in the alley outside. A good sized fan was thoughtfully positioned in front of one window, giving a nice, cool breeze across the bed on what was a hot, humid night. The bedside lights protrude from the wall right at pillow level and reaching the bedside table was a bit of a mission since they are dinnerplate sized and deep. But the bedside table had a very neat power supply arrangement with two 3-pin plugs and two USB points on the side, so plenty of charging capacity for tech. A hairdryer was provided but I couldn't find anywhere to sit and dry my hair with a mirror - iPad to the rescue; what did we do before Apple? There was a good full-length mirror inside one of the wardrobe doors, positioned so that you could stand far enough back to get a good viewing before setting forth. All-in-all it was good but not great. As everyone has said, the breakfast was very, very good.

We stayed here for five nights with a Great Rail Journeys group trip to the Isle of Man. We upgraded to a Business Club Promenade room in our initial booking. Our room was spacious and the main room area was well laid out with a nice seating area in the bay window overlooking the promenade and sea. There was good storage plus a kettle, nespresso machine, fridge and a selection of hot drinks, still and sparkling water (in glass bottles) and biscuits, which were replenished daily. The fridge wasn’t working to start with but we reported it and it was sorted out. Dressing gowns and slippers were provided. There was a safe, iron and ironing board. The lighting was very good! The bed was ok once you got used to the thick memory foam only mattress and soft pillows - we found a spare pillow in the wardrobe which helped my husband. Being memory foam, the mattress was quite warm to sleep on. The bathroom was enormous with a separate bath, large walk-in shower (which was very good indeed) and twin sinks. It did look a bit tired, especially compared with the main part of the room. Two bathroom niggles : the single non-heated towel rail was too small for the towels so you had no choice but to put them over the bath to dry, which then meant they inevitably got changed - not good. Also the provided toiletries were in tiny single use plastic bottles which really isn’t acceptable now. Two room niggles: the room was very hot and stuffy most of the time we were there, so we had to have the windows open and fan on all night. The windows opened too little to have much cooling effect because the top parts didn’t open and the bottoms were of course on limiters. The windows being open meant that the room was very noisy, as the promenade road seems to be one of the main roads in Douglas. But even on the last night, with windows shut due to a storm, it turned out still to be noisy. Our holiday was half board so we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day. Breakfasts were very good with a decent range of options, cold as a buffet and hot plus hot drinks as waited service. Apparently the scrambled eggs were not good at all, but the poached were nice and the smashed avocado on toast with egg was excellent! Dinners were good and well varied over our five day trip, but they weren’t exceptional. The hotel is only a very short walk from the sea terminal, bus station and main shopping street. There is a bus stop about a minute’s walk away which takes you to the Manx Electric Railway station in a few minutes; the steam railway station is about 10 minutes’ walk away. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would ask for a room at the back!

This hotel is 4 star and in on the sea within a few hundred yards of the ferry terminal. The property is all that one could want with plenty of sitting areas and a bar. The furnishing and equipment are superb as is the decoration. We went as part of an organised group and to that we are - in some ways - outside our control. The staff were - without exception - wonderful. Our room was a double but was a bit cramped. There were two chairs but one had to be precisely positioned so as to be able to get into the wardrobe! Coffee and tea provided with a kettle and topped up each day. It was hot weather and a fan was available; we slept under bath towels! Sleeping under duvet would have been impossible. The curtains did not really keep the light out; the seagulls like the area and call all night. Breakfast was fine with part buffet and freshly cooked to order and served by the staff. As said we were part of a group and the evening dining was from a limited menu. All the other members of the group thought the food - both variety and quality - was good. We are vegetarians and may be thought of as a nuisance to caterers. When the others had "thing and two vegetables" we were given a large bowl of pasta with sauce or risotto.
