The stay was a disappointment. They provided me with a bed and breakfast which was fine, but the room was incredibly hot. I went to the front desk who came to check on it after about an hour. Admittedly they were busy. He said the AC wasn't plugged in. He tinkered with it, plugged it in, and said it should work. It actually got a bit warmer. I took a photo of the thermostat at night and again in the morning - still unchanged at 25C. I like it warm but this was really pushing it. I spoke with a lovely woman at the front desk who explained they have new systems and not all the staff know how to use them. I inquired about a partial reimbursement and she said I have to work with Trip.com. I reached out to Trip.com who contacted management. The manager first said I didn't talk to staff (I was able to provide full descriptions). Then he/she questioned my ability to work a thermostat. With the 3rd attempt, he said it was working and it was user error. I don't dispute it could work given the explanation by the woman at the front desk, but they couldn't make it work for me and the room was uncomfortable. Because of the manager's dismissive stance to a reasonable concern, I would recommend caution when booking this property.
