"Since there aren't many accommodations in Cremona, I booked a place that looked clean and had a good location. It is positioned more like an Airbnb than a hotel. However, it was difficult to get in touch with the host. I didn't even realize there was no check-in counter, and I didn't receive any notices or messages regarding check-in in advance. I dragged my heavy luggage from the bus stop, struggled to find the hotel, and tried to go up, but the hallway was pitch black with no signs indicating it was a hotel; it was really hard to find. Eventually, I contacted the Trip.com service center and even tried to find the contact information in the description to reach them. I made an international call without roaming enabled, but all they told me was to contact them via WhatsApp. I went down to the first floor and messaged them on WhatsApp, and only then did they tell me how to check in. Exhausted, the experience of having to handle check-in one step at a time like a guest completing an escape room mission made my trip to Cremona very negative. The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain properly, so I contacted them via WhatsApp; they said it wasn't possible right now and they would come in a few hours, so I just asked them to fix it while I was out. The room itself was nice, but I just wonder why the host made the guest experience this way. Cremona was a travel destination for seeing musical instruments, and I plan to visit again, but it feels a bit ambiguous. It is a good place to stay if you contact the host in advance and know the check-in process."

"My husband and I stayed last week in the Palazzo and had an unforgettable experience: the Palazzo is a most beautiful historical place with a modern guesthouse equipped with all modern facilities to make one feel pampered and comfortable. Roberto, who is in charge, gave us a very warm welcome and made every effort to make us happy. And Michela is there to provide help in English. There is a free parking adjacent to the Palazzo. The only drawback that I can think of is that you cannot have breakfast in the Palazzo. Yet if I come back to Cremona, it will definitely be to the Palazzo Guazzoni Zaccaria"

"The only positives were the location and cleanliness of the room. The room was a basic, standard one, but it was located above crowded, noisy areas, making sleep impossible as the rooms were not soundproofed. I had asked the front desk for regular sheets instead of duvets, but when I returned from dinner, my request had not been fulfilled. The bathroom air filter was dirty. The breakfast staff was very courteous and helpful, but it wasn't 4-star; it was poor, and the tart was inedible. I think the relevant staff should revise the star rating."

"Very good accommodation. Strategic location. Easy and free street parking just near the port. Near the center you can easily reach walking. Stores in front of the house, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants. The apartment is on the third (and last) floor. The only thing that someone might not appreciate is the lack of lift, but it is not a fatigue or impossible stairs. The modern, well furnished and equipped apartment is comfortable, everything is new and functional. Two independent rooms are rented, each with bathroom and TV. The only shared space is the entrance and the kitchen-room. In each room a air conditioner - heat pump, with its remote control. Cosy and friendly manager, very available and elastic also for check in. Environment provided in the most cleanliness. To be chosen safely. I would suggest that we leave some more coffee, soaps and toilet paper, but there was everything but a little oversight would not destroy species for customers who do not only stay at one night but stay for longer periods."
