"We loved our two nights at Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse, a smart B and B in a lovely house on the Sissingurst Estate. Our big corner room, with its luxurious bed and sunny windows on two sides, was extremely comfortable. The ensuite bathroom is tiny but has everything you need including a decent shower and big towels. Breakfast is generous and delicious with excellent coffee. Tea and cake is set out for guests daily in the sitting room down stairs - very welcome on your return from a day out in the neighbourhood visiting the famous gardens ( two minutes walk away) or the many other houses and walks in the area. The new owners are friendly and helpful. Quite expensive but we thought good value for the high standard of accommodation and the overall experience. Recommended."

"We had a light lunch, service was very good and nice friendly welcome. BUT, we ordered a charcuterie board, which was disappointing, not a lot there, meats were dry and hard and served with toast!! A shame, we have both stayed and dined here before and has always been very good. Also, NO Pizzas!! a main item on their menu."
