No microwave nor electric kettle in the room. The hot breakfast items and hot water for the tea was served luke warm. Even though we asked for one hour extension for checkout which was offered for free, we were locked out of our room when we went out for lunch before checkout. When we checked into our room at the beginning, the card key did not work so we had to go down to the front desk to re-register the card key. The room was comfortable but we asked for upgrade to the waterview room (was offered for free if available), it was disappointing that we were told no availability.

This is the place to be if you like looking at various kinds of cruise ships! They usually take up half of the ocean view. The place doesn’t look like much from the street but the interior architecture is excellent! High open air central terrace dining. The hall ways are tiled so it is easy to hear any rolling objects from your room. First night there some children were playing slam the door late at night that was fun times. The staff here is great!

The hotel worked great for us. Breakfast was wonderful every morning and the staff working there was always friendly and with you promptly when you arrived in the am. There was a lot of shopping and eating options within walking distance. We did rent a scooter for a couple days to check out the rest of the island and that was just around the corner from the hotel. The ocean view from the pool/sitting/bar area was beautiful. Loved the people watching from up here too. Would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed the property, and its location. We were able to walk to almost everything. Parking is near impossible to find if you have a car, so keep that in mind. Our only DISLIKE was the horrendous noise every morning starting at about 5:55am. That is when they start prepping for breakfast, and you would swear they are IN your room. All the clinking and clanking drove us absolutely nuts, and left us tired for the week.

Had a lovely stay at Casa Mexicana. The buidling is kept very clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. The balcony was a lovely addition and brekafast was delicious. Its a walking distance to the ferry which is nice and there are taxis always out front for easy transportation. The view from the pool area is amazing! Unfortunately, i had a short stay and didnt get to enjoy the pool. I requested a late check out, and it was an easy process for a resonable fee. I look forward to coming back here

This hotel is on the major tourist street in Cozumel. However, it is a quiet sanctuary from the craziness on the street. The room we had was clean and comfortable, with an incredible view of the Caribbean from the balcony. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The included breakfast well exceeded our expectations as did the wait staff. Shout out to Sinthia here, she was great! There are numerous restaurants, cantinas and of course shopping within walking distance and most are not crowded after the cruise ships leave. I really have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and will book them again when our travels take us back to Cozumel
