The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say it’s slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didn’t have any windows looking out. The location was fantastic. Super close to the lake and really nice restaurants. Furthermore, the train station was also a 5 minute walk away should you need it. Would’ve been nice if the breakfast was included and/or reasonably priced.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is PERFECT. The only small negatives was that the air-conditioning was not on and safe was difficult to understand. Would certainly stay here again and is wholeheartedly recommend.

Very good location in heart of Como. Near to bus & ferry terminals. Noisy at night till 12am but if windows are fully closed it’s silent. But if in summer windows need to be open, then though luck. I went in winter so it’s amazing

Review for a one day stay from Singaporean who stay 29-30 August 22. Location- hotel ideal location near to ferry . 10-15 min walk to cable car. From como railway station . Go down the stair from the exit of the station. Follow the pedestrian crossing and go down and walk straight into the town . Easy . Hotel: super clean . Air con was super good and cold ! I love it . Room wise size is ok. Ruben was helpful and explain to us what to do for our W day stay . Where to take ferry. Where to take cable car . He was nice and smiling . Food: I did not opt for breakfast as there are many food around . I had twice the gelato for nearby shop. It was good ! Overal. My stay in room 403 was great ! Check in and out was easy . Please stay here. At night I also went to the square juat below and chill out with food .

Really happy and pleased with the location of the hotel. The rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. Places of interests, shopping and food are within walking distance. Anita was cheerful, friendly and helpful and so was Rubel who was always smiling and helpful. They made the stay a very pleasant experience.

This is a lovely hotel situated near the square and close to the lake . It has a lovely buzz around the area . The room we stayed in was very spacious , large bathroom , couch and a desk . The air conditioner worked well. We had a large wardrobe and safe in the room as well Wifi was very slow at times and you had to keep logging in , we were on the 1 st floor so it was a bit noisy with the restaurant cafe downstairs especially when the staff were closing up , bottles and rubbish getting thrown in the bin woke us . Unfortunately there was no tea / coffee making facilities or no bar fridge . We travelled two couple and had booked two rooms exactly the same on the same booking , but our room was very spacious with a king size bed , couch, storage area , our friends room was on the 4th floor , double bed, very small room , not much room to walk around . I think when two rooms are booked on the same booking that the rooms should at least be of similar size and the same . Obviously we ended up with a bit of an upgrade or they didn’t get the rooms that we had booked . We all would definitely stay and recommend this hotel again as the location was amazing . Check in was not till 2 pm , but they were happy to store our luggage when we got there until we could check in . The checkin was easy and the staff very friendly . It is walking distance to the train station which is convenient. Just go down the road not down the stairs . You pay a tax which is €4 per person per night . Breakfast was not included in our rate , so we went to bliss cafe a couple of minutes away , or Mac Donald’s is about 5 minutes. Breakfast is available at the hotel . Prices are mid to high range

We were very pleased to have booked this hotel. A fantastic situation, 5 minutes walk to everything and in a very attractive square. We had a warm welcome at reception & found everyone friendly & helpful. Our room, 104 was a generous size with superbly comfortable bed! We were right above the restaurant/bar and particularly over the weekend the square could be very noisy until the early hours. We were able to close windows which subdued the noise considerably but worth bearing in mind if noise is an issue. Also the bathroom is adapted for disabled but water from the shower runs right across the room making it very slippery & dangerous. It’s so wet the plaster is bubbling off the wall. Apparently housekeeping/maintenance are aware of the problem but it needs sorting soon before someone has an accident. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Particular mention for one of the waiters, sadly we didn’t get his name, but he was the shortest. Always greeting us with a lovely smile! Thank you. The bistro is on the upper end of pricing but food was good & a lovely spot to sit for an evening cocktail.

This three night stay was at the end of an incredible 2 week vacation on a river cruise and Amsterdam stay. However, even with all our great times, Posta Design was the “pana” to top off our vacay. Precious historical building, clean/comfy/quiet rooms, inviting cafe, best location in Como topped with an A plus staff. We felt like family during our 3 night/4day stay. This hotel is great. Ideal location, right on the square and only a few mins walk to the lake. We had breakfast here which was very good. They upgraded our room due to it being our wedding anniversary which was really kind. We had a little balcony overlooking the square, would definitely recommend room 304 if you can get it. Staff were all helpful, friendly and professional. Also sat and had a cocktail here most evenings which were delicious.

My second stay here having stayed in 2018 but wow how Como has changed! It is indeed very touristy now. I asked for the same room as I had last time but after a second night or poor nights sleep from the loud music on the square and the rubbish bottle bins being collected during the night it became unbearable. I was moved to the loft room which was far better however, there was a strong “drain smell” in the rooms, I wished I had brought my pillow spray! The receptionist desk was often unmanned and at times I felt I was treated more like a nuisance than a guest. Given the reception is not manned during the night you just have a spy hole on the doors of the bedrooms for the comfort of travellers, especially solo ones. The staff were usually quite kind and it was great to see a few familiar faces from my last visit. This hotel was amazing last time however standards seemed to have dropped. The luggage storage area didn’t seem particularly safe just a cupboard off the kitchen where I could go and collect my bag without anyone challenging me on where I was going and what I was doing. The area outside was costly for breakfast which I enjoyed and to have drinks in the evening.

Stylish hotel in the centre of Como. Spacious room with everything we needed - the shower is amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly. The seating outside the bar is a great place to watch the world go by with a glass of wine. Highly recommended - thank you for a wonderful stay

€140 cost per night this is a disgusting stay. Having stayed before I expected the same pleasant experience, I was wrong! The hotel is not safe no one monitors who goes in and out. Second night in a row cannot sleep due to loud racket outside and people shouting, drinking and being loud etc. I get it people are unwinding and on holiday so asked to be moved to another room only to be told the hotel is unmanned and their sister hotel cannot help. Needless to say, I will be asking my bank to dispute this cost!
