Hotel Honucai

Hotell Honucai is a very special botique hotell. All the staff where very friendly and service minded. Especially José in the reseption, was very professionell and really understood what kind of hotell experience we wanted. He took the time to show us a couple of different room cstegories, and that ended with us choosing one of the beautiful suites! Fresh colour, all the small interiour detaljs, really fresh and clean room, great bed, and best of all a Big balcony with both a sitting group and a little sofa. It was a great view from the balcony to the sea and harbour. In the hotell they also have a litt Spa, wirh a sauna, a work out room, a small pool, and a shower. This was included in the total price of the room! The breakfast had a little for every taste. Especially we want to mention the fresh pinapple, and water melon, the potatoeomelette, the cheeses, the fresh Bread..the fresh orange juice, and a very Good coffee! Also the staff in the resturant where very friendly and polite. We had half board and had very Good quality food in the resturant Salicornia at the hotell. Fresh fish, a very lovely sea bass ceviche, chicken with cocunut and curry taste, tender meat, lamb on a biquit, brownie dessert with marmelade.. The Rolf Top bar had a Nice pool and a stunning view to the sea. Me and my husband cant wait to Get back to this lovely hotell. We highly recomand others to stay and enjoy this charming lovely hotell!

A great week at the Hotel Honucai in late September. The staff were so warm and friendly. The hotel was very nicely decorated and maintained. We had a room with a terrace and plunge pool. The room was not huge but perfectly acceptable. Good bathroom with huge shower. It was my husband’s birthday during our stay and unprompted we received a bottle of wine with their compliments.

The room was spacious enough for its lowest category, the air-condition was quiet, the windows soundproof, also the door. The bathroom spacious and with a well working shower. The cleaning of the rooms was done nicely. The furniture was well maintained, modern and stylish. Wi-Fi was well working, too. The style of the hotel is great. The rooftop contains a pool and high quality sun-beds. Unfortunately not enough umbrellas available. The breakfast contains a broad choice of various dishes and warm dishes a la minute. High-standard quality coffee machines are available, also fresh juices. Nothing to complain about. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. We will come again.

A lovely hotel in a good location. It is clean and stylish. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. I wish they had some recommendations about places to visit and things to do during your stay. They were not forthcoming when asked and one of them sent us to a nudist beach to our bewilderment!!! The breakfast was a let down as was the rooftop pool although the rooftop area is beautiful and relaxing. All in all though, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again if in the area.

Absolutely brilliant. We stayed for two nights for a special company meeting. We had sea views with balconies and the aspect was quite stunning. The service was attentive, thoughtful and kind from the front desk through to housekeeping. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. We enjoyed cocktails on the roof terrace and a delicious meal in the restaurant.

First impressions are everything. This place had the right people, ambience and standards from the get go. We arrived at 4.15am after yet another very poor Easyjet experience but everything fell into place. Great room, breakfast, rooftop and restaurent. Special call out to Haskel - Went beyond on every occasion. Simple, quiet but diverse location. Plenty of beaches both quiet and busy - all via some interesting walks

Hotel Honucai sells itself on luxury 4 stars hotel, but our stay at the Hotel Honucai was definitely disappointed We have been advised to book there by the SUMMUM boutique hotel which by the way is an AMAZING place to go. We booked for 1 night. Then as soon as we checked in, we made the decision right at the reception to extebd to 1 more night. We just needed to change room on the next morning which was fine for us. - We would like to congratulate SOFIA (young woman with long dark hair, not long arrived in the team) for her dedication to the hotel, making an honor to follow the 4 stars standards -Unfortunately it was not the same with her colleague (a man) to whom we asked if he could book us a trip to the Cabrera Island for the next morning. His answer was to go in from of the hotel and to book by yourself. - Then we asked to have our luggage delivered to the room, Sofia delivered to us in the allocated room. We will make the point here that, one dirty glass of water was standing on the bed head. Sofia took it off. On the next morning, we left the room at 11am, went down with our luggage to go to our trip on Cabrera island. We asked the reception to deliver our luggage to the other room that will be ready for us when we will return. We came back at 6.30pm, at the reception 2 new young women (1 blonde with long hair, 1 brunette with long hair too). We so asked for our new room, then one of the girl (the blonde) gave us our luggage. We so asked to be delivered to the room, and the other girl at our big surprised stated that this was not part of the services of the hotel! 4 STARS HOTEL AND NO LUGGAGE DELIVERY! With such an attitude, we made the point that we pay for a 4 stars hotel and that luggage room delivery was part of it. (We only had 2 luggage). The girls which obviously did not received any training on 4 stars standards just laughed in front of us. At the end one girl (the brunette) dropped our luggage at the room, saying that she was sorry for her colleague attitude, however we have to understand that this was not her hotel or parents hotel and so this service was not include. We were shocked! On the next morning, before to leave the Honucai hotel we decided to speak with the manager about this point. To short cut the story the manager listening us then his final words were: “we are not here to serve you but to help you”!! With that say, we understood why the staff is behaving with such negatives standards. For sur we will never come back to the HUNUCAI hotel and will not recommend it either. In general for the positive points - The hotel is generally clean and modern - The 2 room we got were spacious and comfortable - Bathroom is clean with all necesary amities - WiFi is correct - Breakfast offers reasonable variety - Roof top was nice

We stayed 4 nights and I wish it could have been longer. The hotel itself is in a stunning setting and has mastered laid back beautiful design. Rooms are spacious, roof top bar and pool is just divine and it’s 1 minute from a beautiful bay and beach. The staff are absolutely incredible - every single one was friendly, went above and beyond and was just a pleasure to be there. We ate at the restaurant one evening and had a stunning meal (amazing seared tuna!) and the breakfast every morning was brilliant. Genuinely not a bad word to say, we all absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come again!

This is one of out favourite ever hotels. It has a wonderful laid-back beach vibe; stylish but completely free of pretension. It’s the type of place where you can comeback from a day at the beach covered in sand and be welcomed at reception to enjoy a rooftop cocktail and sunset dip. The food is great, the design effortless but most importantly the staff are fantastic. Every one of the reception team helped us with our numerous requests & questions with kindness and a smile. A special mention must go to Xisca who was so lovely in helping my wife rearrange rooms and beds & cots so my she could get a night off from our one year old. We are a family of five but Hotel Honocai is a great stop off for anyone who wants a chilled, welcoming stylish break away from the conveyor belt of soulless big brand tourism on some other of other parts of the island. Bravo to Hotel Honocai and all the team who make it so special and memorable.
