Ulasan a&o Köln Dom

Ideal location value for money, rooms are small but clean. Staff are very helpful, shower water pressure very low  can be improved and used towels can be changed everyday even if not thrown on the floor:). Overall a nice place to stay on a budget for singles couples or families, has a safe feeling.

Basic room but we’ll located in the centre of cologne, only a couple of minutes from the Dom

The room is very very small, not just cramped. The price is not worth it. The location of the hotel is OK, but the transportation in Cologne is good and it is convenient to go everywhere, so there is no need to stay near the train station and the cathedral. I booked a twin room, but we were given a double room. It is not good to change the order, so I don’t recommend this mini hotel. The mattress is too soft and old, and the double bed is not wide enough. I wake up in pain every day. There are comments online saying that this hotel has a rich breakfast, but I really can’t agree.

The soundproofing is very poor. Someone was talking in the corridor and the room could hear it clearly. It's like there's no door. The room smelled very bad. It feels very unsafe, the door cannot be locked, and it is not recommended to live alone. Apart from the good location, there is nothing else good about it.

Quiet single room in a prime location near the cathedral and Cologne Central Station

Too bad there was no small table with chair in the room. Breakfast was ok, was satisfied.

The room is relatively small, the bed is about 0.9 meters wide, and there is no toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers. Check-in is from 15:00 in the afternoon and check-out is before 10:00 in the morning. You can put the door card directly into the box at the front desk. Luggage can be stored for free. There is an elevator upstairs. My room towels and bath towels have not been arranged yet. The church bells can be clearly heard.

The hotel is not big, but the location is very convenient. There are also restaurants and small shops nearby. If you come to Cologne again, you can consider this hotel, but just bring less luggage.

Amenities and services equivalent to the cost of accommodation. but Best access You can see Cologne Cathedral from your room window. I was very impressed. It is recommended.

Very good, but a little small

So if the a&o hostel has the Dom Hostel as standard, then that was my last stay. Shower no pressure to shower. The bed feels like it is in the middle of the room without a headrest, so that the pillow always lands on the floor. fewer rooms and more bathrooms is advisable. What good is a “big” room if the bathroom is made for dwarfs. even if the location to my workplace was good in the last 2 days, no more a&o hostels are booked. especially since I booked a single room for real Patte. I get a "hotel room with double bed" for. will do it next time too.
