Hotel dekat Cologne Airport (CGN), Cologne

Friendly staff and lovely hotel. Modern and stylish. 2 minutes walk from Cologne airport and Airport S-bahnhof.

I booked it because I was arriving late at night. But my flight was delayed and I arrived later than anticipated. Also, I wrote yo them on mail to ask for they shuttle bus to pick me up, and they didn’t have the clear pick up place, so their shuttle passed me 2 times after which I decided to walk there. And upon arrival and getting into my room someone else was trying to check in into my room, so it was really awkward. The breakfast was good.

5 minutes away from the airport, I believe the hotel provides a shuttle service to / from the airport if requested. They can also book a taxi if you’re in a rush. The room was very nice and comfortable, although the coffee machine in my room wasn’t working. The hotel lobby and bar look really good although I didn’t spend much time there. There isn’t anything of interest immediately outside the hotel, this might seem slightly odd if you want to go outside for a walk. I had a rental car with me so I had the option of driving 5 minutes to the local shops etc.

The hotel's hygiene, facilities and services are all acceptable. But its location is great! The transportation is very convenient. It's just a few steps to the pedestrian street. There is a supermarket REWE, a bank, many restaurants, and a Chinese fast food restaurant next to it. Unfortunately, it was Carnival, and many restaurants were closed. The Chinese fast food restaurant was also closed for a break. It is said that their roast duck is delicious and cheap.

The hotel is located in the airport area. In fact, it is only 2 stops away from the exhibition hall and 3 stops away from the main railway station. The environment is very quiet, which is different from the many planes taking off and landing around the domestic airport. The hotel environment is average, I have stayed in before, so I did not choose the buffet breakfast this time, there are really few categories! There is KFC next to the hotel and McDonald's opposite the subway station. Most of the service staff have a very good attitude. Unfortunately, when I checked in, a female receptionist who looked like an intern took my Voucher and asked me to pay. I said the money had been paid. She said no. Later, after the Ctrip staff called to communicate, they asked another employee to check that the payment was indeed made. Another thing is to ask me for CITY TAX, my Voucher clearly says CITY TAX INCLUDE, and when I live in other cities in Germany, I only need to fill in a form that is because of the business coming to Germany, and I can exempt CITY TAX. This The reception is obviously not understood. Moreover, the English level is not good and communication is difficult. I gave her my exhibitor ID and asked her to copy it, but nothing else... At the end of November in Germany, it was dark at 7 in the morning, and it was dark after 4 in the evening. After the exhibition ends at 6 o'clock in the evening, the distance from the subway station to the hotel is a bit desolate, and you will feel at ease if you have a companion~

The accommodation was generally good and I left satisfied. The team was friendly and attentive. During the rental process and in the room details, it was already written that there was no air conditioning, but considering the weather in Germany, the lack of air conditioning is a noticeable deficiency. The location is good, it is located on a quiet street. You don't need a refrigerator. Just put your products in the window :)

Room and hotel super clean. - Thank you. 8 euros to park at hotel or surveyed place , expensive , is allowed in the price. You can also park free in surrounding streets. Breakfast good , but made up yourself breads Café late mocht warmer . To reach Cologne ; 20 minutes walk and then a tram .  Nearby no option to go to eat or drink anything else at walking distance , in residential neighborhood Bar: self-control with a few seats. Good for 1 time

The hotel is a bit old, but the whole is very clean. The waiter is attentive and favorable, so the stay is very comfortable. Especially the breakfast is very rich, never to treat passengers, and there is hand-made coffee. The hotel is about 3 kilometers away from the Cologne Pavilion and about 15 minutes by Uber. You can also walk to the nearby light rail station and take the light rail, which is convenient.

The room is clean and the size is right. The location is slightly off compared to the train station and the inner city, so the price is cheap. Business rooms with flooring are preferred. At the beginning, I chose an expensive superior room. The carpet is relatively old and not as good as a cheap business room. Living in the room directly opposite the elevator, it was not very noisy. One of the waiters at the front desk was Chinese. 30 meters walk downstairs from the hotel is Rewe supermarket, open until 10 pm. The disadvantage of the hotel is that there are no restaurants around. The nearest 1.2 km has a shopping center, and you can walk for 25 minutes. It is highly recommended that Saman Restaurant (not the TO GO store) that can be reached within 30 minutes walk from the hotel, and the rating is 4.9. The whole lamb chops, lamb, beef, is really the best place for meat lovers to find food. It is best to make an appointment to the store on Google map.

Accommodation for a business trip, clean, safe, with breakfast and parking lot, enough.
