Hotel was very handily situated in the town centre , clean with tea/coffee making facilities and had parking opposite (which is extra). The seagullls where very noisy .

Location was great for all amenities
Staff were friendly and helpful
Rooms are so stuffy it was hot and unpleasant to sleep windows only open 2 inches and the fans did very little to cool the room! Probably won’t use travelodhe again because it was so uncomfortable in the heat

No hand soap, only one toilet roll for a week stay, and the shower drained very slowly. The staff was extremely kind and attentive.

The staff Jenni , Danni and Terri were amazing and had real banter the whole evening . I really have loved staying here . And I will be back . Loved my room . It was clean and warm and comfy . Parking over the road at reasonable price . Shame they don’t have food for sale thou . Thanks girls for the great experience

I had a brilliant stay and an excellent night sleep at Travelodge Clacton-on Sea Central , very clean and spacious room with facility to make hot drinks , the hotel is in very good location and ease access. I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Clacton-on-Sea.

My son and his friend stayed there over the weekend after travel arrangements had changed. The day staff especially Maria and Jennie helped them out massively. Changing rooms to one with two beds instead of one. Finding a lost earring and all round great service. Would recommend a stay here.

This is the best travelodge I’ve stayed at which is why I stay regularly..I’ve stayed here for a couple of weeks now for work and have never enjoyed a hotel as much as this one, every member of staff is amazing and always helpful no matter what time of day or night I need assistance, the manager danni is the best by far anything I’ve needed she’s sorted it out there and then and it’s lovely to have a gorgeous face with an even more gorgeous attitude at the front desk I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! I would rate this place a 12/10 if it would let me

Danni was brilliant. Had to check in fairly late, Danni welcomed myself with a heartwarming smile. The front desk conversation did not feel like a chore, yet a pleasure- absolute asset to your team. She walked me thoroughly through the process of checking out and additional services such as breakfast, which in fat was delightful considering the reasonable price. Amazing service - thank you.
