I personally think that Boro Noguchi is the best accommodation in Noboribetsu Onsen Village. However, there was a time when I thought that my thoughts might be wrong. While using the bath in the room, I saw something like dirt in the water, so I flushed out all the water in the hot spring bath and tried to fill it again, and then I found out what the impurity was. As you can see in the attached picture, it was sand..... It didn't seem to be mixed in the water, but rather due to the aging and poor maintenance of the facilities. I personally found it very disappointing. They have the best hot spring water, food, and the kindness of the staff, but the aging and poor maintenance that diminishes these things should definitely be improved.
