Premier Inn Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park)

Woken at 6am to open my bowels, unable to go back to sleep after, due to having to flush the toilet with the kettle!!

Lovely welcome by reception Room spacious, clean and tidy, bed comfortable Ate in onsite on restaurant in the evening - staff and food were both good Breakfast wasn’t a self serve buffet as you ordered from your server - though you could have much as you liked Cheerful goodbye from staff as we left

While the room, meals and staff are very good, the number of staff is inadequate, often one person doing reception, bar and restaurant duties. We reported a major fire safety issue. Emergency exit signage on floor 2 is wrong - the centre sign directs you to a potential death trap where you could end up locked into an area with no exit.stairs. We reported it to the receptionist who came to look at the area and agreed the signs were wrong. She showed us that there was an emergency release for the door (which could lock people into the unsafe area), but this was not obvious or signed. We hope Head Office will deal with this issue urgently.

Well located near centre of town, Cathedral and restaurants - from fast food on the doorstep, to posh a few minutes walk away. You know what you are getting with Premier Inn: clean and comfortable, good facilities, parking, nice breakfast. A bit pricey on Goodwood weekend, but a good standard overall and friendly, helpful staff.

OK so its a Premier Inn and you kind of know what to expect. First the good stuff: great friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms with aircon. The other stuff: food was disappointing. Evening meal was very underwhelming a couple of salads with zero imagination. Location is in a retail area more specifically the car park. We were there Thursday and Friday night and both nights were blighted by car engines revving and screeching into the early hours. I know some of this is within PI's control and some not but overall just and average stay.

Good base for Chichester visit, town centre within easy walking distance Excellent helpful welcome from reception. Room clean quiet comfortable. Excellent hot shower. Breakfast well organised

The hotel was a great location in a leisure park, easy to get to, good parking and great food outlets and cinema and bowling right nearby. This was so useful for us. The hotel was the usual great standard of premier inn and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Hotel was clean and modern and quiet too. We wanted a bigger bed and Alice instantly moved us to a super king room, without question or bother. The room was big and bright and the bed huge and luxurious and very comfortable as always. We were so happy to be welcomed and treated so warmly and so efficiently by Alice regarding this minor issue and by all of the team throughout our short stay (whether when coming in from a day out or providing us with ice for the room). Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. A great base to explore Chichester nearby.

Clean, tidy, friendly and helpful staff. Made our time there extra special with gifts etc for our 40th wedding anniversary.

The girl on reception was so lovely, I believe she was called Jess. She helped me instantly with my inquiry and was very friendly. I appreciated her help so much, she was so kind and welcoming as well, so thank you very much to Jess for your help :)
