Ulasan Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel Huay Kaew

This hotel is extremely good value for money. It is full of art, beautiful furniture, and has an ornate feel. Gym and pool are free of charge to use for guests and it has a restaurant and a cafe. Rooms were spacious and well kept and had lots of old/ vintage dark wood furniture. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to assist with my luggage

All is decent, clean room and very quiet. Seems like this hotel quite old and many people come with their families I recommend you if you come with many people. Swimming pool is awesome! Recommend

The hotel appears to be one of the older establishments in the city, with a rich history of hosting dignitaries in its prime. Despite its age, it has been well-maintained. My room was spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was upgraded from a twin room to a king-size bed, as I was staying alone. If you’ve stayed in hotels from the early 2000s, the nostalgic carpeted hallways and rooms will remind you of that era. While it may not be to everyone’s taste, I personally appreciated the vintage charm. The location is quite convenient, with good cafes, a night market, and a mall within walking distance. Being situated along the main road makes it easy to grab dinner at the night market and return to the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and spoke both intelligible English and Mandarin. I managed to book the room at an excellent rate, so my experience here exceeded expectations. If I were on vacation, I would have happily extended my stay for a relaxing staycation.

The room is alittle dirty amd smelly from other hotels i stay in chaing mai so i cancel for another day i only stay 1 day

Good size of room. Comfortable. Good sized swimming pool. Close to the Ram hospital. Friendly staff.

Old style hotel just outside the city centre walls. The service is good. Food is good. Not so many choices. Services are good (pool and gym).

Ok for budget price. Tired now but grand back in the day circa 1980s. Don’t understand the logic of a kettle but no cups!! I mean there was water and glasses… so?

Great place.facilities were amazing.not far from the centre,and bars,and restaurants.staff were very polite,welcoming, and went out there way to help you.

I was lucky enough to get a booking at this hotel just before NYE. I had to relocate as the previous hotel I stayed at was fully booked. So I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel facilities at the price offered. I only stayed a couple of nights but I would certainly stay there again given the chance.

Lower score because had to change to room twice as room received was wrong + dirty/open electric circuit.

Amazing gym. Pool is unheated but comfortable. Clean comfortable rooms. 10 minute walk to old city.

The hotel is worn out. Especially the bathroom. Toilet paper holder is broken. The tiles in the bathroom are dirty. I would give two star rating. Wifi is also very bad. Not recommend to stay . It's not worth for what we paid.
