Vibe and cozy decor. However, room cleaning could be better, a bit more care would make the stay perfect.

Good price good room good location

Am happy to be upgraded to suite, which is fabulous. Food in the resto downstairs is good. The wife-owner is cut for service industry; the husband is also not bad but smiling more would be helpful. The whole hotel has enormous potentials but the main issue is cleanliness and the need to upgrade the dirty carpets along corridor. Am not so delicate about it, but I should say that what other reviewers said about the need for thorough cleaning is absolutely true.

For some reason the day I booked this place just showed this place and L nimman , that’s why I chose vulcano. I wasn’t expecting much just a clean room with amenities. The room is super dusty. I found someone pants in the bathroom drawer ( they’re dirty). The glass sealing glue coming out from the edge of the shower glass and that is the sign of bad maintenance and recklessness. There were only towel and no head towel or bathrobe at all( ask the maid, she said no) the entire room only has one tissue paper in the toilet seat, no any spare in the room at all. The pillow is very loose and flat. Only one pillow per bed ( they have 2 small toss pillows) the good thing about this place is location, it’s next to ThongSmith noodles right in Nimman area. They have great balcony tho. The staff were nice, they are quite (what do you do) ( we chose two single beds)

Lots of dust can be seen in the room. My skin got rashes overnight. Good location though.

The ownerof the hotel is very nice also with the location is the best easily to go everywhere.Only one thing must do is about the housekeeping should be more care of cleaning the room specially in the bathroom.

For me cleanliness is most important. I didn’t stay at the hotel nor eat as I was always trying to escape staying at this dirty hotel. I tried booking other hotels but they were all fully booked due to the lantern festival. It was so dirty and so overpriced. The bed was covered with boogers and there was blood under the pillows. The floor was full of ants and the bathroom was covered with spiders and spider webs. The toilet smelled so bad and I think there was a fishy smell coming from the pipes. It needs severe renovating and the security is awful. There are no cameras and the hotel gates or more like doors don’t close. They keep the hotel open without a receptionist or security overnight so guests who are late can return. I tried refunding my money but wasn’t able to. Honestly even a motel is better than this!

Great location in Nimman area. Easy to find. Quite area. However, the wall is thin so the noise from the door can be heard. The mattress is not comfortable. Too sunk.

The door makes loud noise when open and close, the balcony is not clean, and restroom has strange smell. But the room look good for this price

I love this hotel, every time when I visit Chiangmai, I will choose Vulcano because I love decoration, the room is so much clean with full of amenities. The service is excellent, if you need any help, you can call the staff immediately as well as the bar and restaurant downstairs are very wonderful atmosphere. The price is reasonable and valuable, I recommend this place for every who come to visit Chiangmai!!!!
