I recently stayed at Dorsett Chengdu, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for exploring Chengdu’s top attractions, including Kuanzhai Alley and Tianfu Square. The nearby metro station was a huge plus for getting around the city with ease. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the concierge team was always available to offer recommendations and assistance. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel welcome. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed, a large desk for working, and a well-equipped bathroom with high-quality toiletries. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details, such as complimentary bottled water, slippers, and a selection of teas. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided stunning views of the city skyline, which was a highlight of our stay. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to cater to both Western and Chinese tastes. From freshly made dim sum and noodles to classic pastries and fresh fruits, everything was delicious and of high quality. The dining area was spacious, and the service staff were attentive and efficient. Dorsett Chengdu also offers fantastic facilities, including a well-maintained gym and a relaxing lounge area. Although I didn’t have time to visit the spa, it looked inviting, and I’d love to try it on my next visit. Another standout feature was the complimentary smartphone provided in the room, which came with internet access and was incredibly helpful for navigating the city. Overall, Dorsett Chengdu exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers exceptional value for money, combining luxurious comfort with top-notch service and an unbeatable location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu and will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference. One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties. The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience. We stayed 4 nights here and mostly enjoyed the experience. The location was good and easy to get to most attractions. The beds were comfortable – not too hard and not too soft. The pillows were also a good firmness and not too thin as many Chinese pillows are. Trip.com’s diamond system is a bit misleading. Trip.com rates this as a 4 diamond hotel but it’s more like a 3 star hotel. The positives: free washing machine use. Delicious buffet breakfast. No noise coming from adjacent neighbours. Good service. The negatives: the carpet was dirty. One of our rooms smelt of mildew so we requested a new room which did not smell. There was a fair bit of noise from the street outside coming in from the windows in our room - such as cars honking, loud jingles playing from shops, people shouting etc, but it pretty much stopped by midnight. One of our rooms also was next to the elevator which was noisy and we asked to be moved which they accomodate.

Location - very convenience. Beside of the mall. Starbuck, foods and convenience store nearby. Staff are nice and also thanks to Lisa for the arrangement that I requested. Room are big and well maintain. Having a washing machine & dryer is a plus! They have robot to delivery your food delivery. Will choose this place again when I come back to Chengdu.

Was excellent from start to end. Everything was perfect, now you can call that a 5 stars hotel ! The client service was top tier, thanks to everyone, Damon and Rachel who were so kind, professional and efficient. This one was by far the best comparing to all the hotels that I have stayed at. ( around the world) experience was so good that I extended my stay. Definitely recommend it.

We had the suite including the package for high tea and breakfast in the executive lounge, which we found absolutely worth the price Nice and helpful staff, at the front desk as well as shoe cleaning, in room dining, room cleaners.... Very good customer experience. The room was exceptionally clean and also looked after by the staff a few times during the day. Also the pool area was very clean and enjoyable, we just missed a steam room and a sauna.

I am from Malaysia, staying 2 nights at Hyatt. This hotel is luxury and strategically located beside Chunxi road, near IFS panda, and Taikooli shopping street. Lots of shops and eateries. All within walking distance. Hotel room is clean, decent size and comfortable. Quiet at night and water pressure was good. The hotel is adjacent to a large shopping mall, where we could find food court at lower ground, and many fine restaurant at top level, should try some of the fine restaurants there too. We booked without breakfast, but there is a noodle house just next to the hotel serving good local delights and inexpensive. I will stay there if visit Chengdu again.

This is a classic Shangri-la hotel. It is a little bit dated but it doesn’t hurt it one bit. Very clean, well serviced. We got a club level suite and an executive room. The club floor is extremely good, and you can have breakfast, happy hour, and dinner all included (we ate one day out of three for dinner and it was excellent). It is very well situated, beautiful views. It is right next to the “party” part of town but you cannot hear anything (though great if you like to go out to the clubs).

The hotel is really nice, and room big and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The only slight issue was the location - although it's very close to the airport, but I couldn't find the hotel shuttle bus stop (airport staff couldn't tell me either), and it took a while to figure out how to actually walk from the terminal to the hotel without walking in the middle of the traffic. However, the distance is ok to walk, once you figure out where to go.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and kind. The gym was very clean and organize. Equipped with all necessary equipment and it was 24/7. There is a nice sauna room in the mens bathroom next to the swimming pool. The swimming pool closed at 10/11. The chlorine in the water was too much and it left a very strong chemical residue in the air that it burned my eyes because of lack of ventilation in the pool area. The room was squeaky clean. Amazing. The washing machine and tumble dryer were new and worked great. The bath and shower drained properly which was good for a change. The air conditioner made the room nice and cold. As for the room the only critique I have is that the wifi was very bad that I couldn't do my work on my laptop because of the slowness of the wifi. Over all I would definitely recommend this hotel.
