Not too bad a stay. The air con takes a while to warm up but it isn't so cold in the room either. The budget hotel behind the main big one at the front

Wonderful location just at the entrance of Chengde Mountain Resort. Possibly walkable from Chengde rail station (not Chengde South / Chengdenan). Friendly front desk staff. Had initial issue with in-room wifi router. Resolved by changing room. The room itself was located at the back of the main building. Bathroom was a bit odd; showering will wet the toilet bowl seating area. Hot water initially didn’t work well but eventually improved. Note that the reception will require ¥100 deposit; best if paid cash so that you get the cash back on checkout (whereas using AliPay or credit card may take some time for the money to be returned). Generous daily housekeeping with towel changes and bottled water. Refillable drinking water was also available at the lobby. Lots of eating options around the hotel area. Buses to Puning Temple are also easily accessible and very frequent.

The hotel is very close to the Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort, with convenient transportation. The bus can go directly to the railway station and scenic spots. The room is clean and hygienic. The service attitude is enthusiastic and can help us solve any problems.

The room is clean and tidy. The lady on duty is serious and responsible. She helped us adjust the room because we were with the elderly. There is also a large parking lot, so parking is worry-free. Free parking coupons are provided for accommodation. Not bad.

The room is small, the facilities are primitive and can meet basic accommodation requirements. The hotel management is also very primitive and is still in the deposit check-out inspection stage. The advantage is that the location is excellent, opposite the villa.

During the Spring Festival holiday, I brought my family of seven to Chengde, where the Summer Resort is located. The room I booked was good, especially suitable for children with children. It was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very rich. Like it.

The house price of 100 yuan is quite affordable. The tatami room for three adults and one child is just opposite Chengde Villa. The Lao Wu Yang Soup at the door is delicious. There are also many other restaurants. It is convenient for travel and free parking.

This building is separated separately. The introduction says that it will open in 2022, but it does not look like it has been renovated for only 2 years. There is no elevator in the building, the room is small, and the window looks like a residential building, but it is not noisy. The price of the room in the off-season and the peak season is quite different. Considering the above situation according to the off-season price, it is still a bit worthwhile. Here are the disadvantages: there is no hair dryer in the room, you have to borrow it from the service desk, which is rare now; there are very few sockets, especially you can't lie on the bed and charge while watching your phone; the room shower is slow to get hot water, and the location of the shower room is weird. After washing, there is a puddle in front of the toilet in the bathroom. You can't miss it if you pass by; the breakfast tastes average. I thought there would be some local snacks in Chengde.
