Dar Echchaouen Maison d'Hotes & Riad

小鎮上的酒店，環境太漂亮了，裝飾非常有當地的特色，唯一的問題是無線網絡的點不太好，基本上等於沒有網絡。

Absolutely stunning riyad with gardens and bungalow rooms with a living and quaint decor. Breath taking views across the old city glistening in white and blue. Climb up to the rooms are a bit steep and not for ppl who have difficulty climbing. Some of the bungalows have a private terrace or balcony as well . Dinner and breakfast at the Ground floor restaurant and 1st floor areas were good. Only issue I had was the pressure of water  in the shower. Else it was the most beautiful place in Chefchouen. Staff are not too friendly nor accommodating in comparison to the other Riyads where we stayed.

This hotel has a lot of potential but fell flat in our experience. First impressions are everything and with hotels that impression is typically based upon how you are initially greeted. We had traveled from a riad in Fes where we were greeted warmly, offered tea, and felt immediately comfortable. Not so here. When we approached the clerk at the desk he barely looked up at us and I had to ask him if we could check in. He never once cracked a smile or made us feel welcome. The hotel is well-located on the hill with a nice view of the charming town that is only a short stroll away. The pool and outdoor areas are lush and inviting. The rooms, however, are dark and tired. Many have lovely views and could be nice if they were renovated. However, as they are, we did not want to spend any time in them other than to sleep. With respect to dining, the fireplace in the restaurant had created so much smoke in the air that we declined to eat dinner there. The staff kindly accommodated us by moving us to the upstairs dining area that is normally used for breakfast The dinner menu and quality was OK but nothing special. Breakfast was good. With some upgrades to the rooms this hotel could be very nice. But as it is currently, I can't rate it higher than a 3 (out of 5).

We stayed for one night in a room outside the main building. Our room was large with a separate seating area and was very tastefully decorated. Good lighting and thoughtful design. The problem was the cold bathroom, though the bathroom itself was beautiful. All amenities in the room and extra blankets too. Buffet breakfast was a let down as it was quite a small space and limited choice. It was enough for us but not great. Service was slow as the place was crowded. Overall a nice place.

The staff members were incredibly responsive, ensuring that every need was promptly addressed. One of the highlights was the mesmerizing view of the sunset from my hotel window – an absolutely breathtaking sight that added a touch of magic to the entire experience. Additionally, the dinner at the hotel’s restaurant exceeded my expectations. Moreover, the hotel’s convenient location made it a perfect choice for my stay. It became a memorable stop that beckons me to return for another visit.😍😍😍🙏

This hotel is beautiful and comfortable with fabulous staff. Outstanding restaurant! They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. There are restful spots to sit indoors and out, with views of Chefchaoen and sunset behind the Rif Mountains. Our room was comfortable and delightfully decorated. I would visit again in a heartbeat!

Stayed here in Jan 2024 with family. A short overnight trip to Chefchaouen to see the blue city. The hotel is located just outside the Medina but close enough to walk over easily, and the walkway/road takes you to one of the main Medina thoroughfares almost at the top of town. But back to the hotel…the lovely location surprised us as soon as we walked through the door. It’s quirky and different and absolutely brilliant. Our room was #23 and 24…they were connected with a small living room and truly luxurious. All the modern amenities were present, including multiple plug points, heating air cons and heated bathroom floors (which the family loved in the cold weather). The beds were comfortable and the sleep was great. Lighting was a bit dim. The restaurant had tasty food for dinner…while breakfast could’ve been better. A beer would’ve been nice to get. The best part of this hotel are the serenity and the lovely public areas. I really wish I could’ve spent more time here doing nothing but hanging out. The extremely photogenic blue town just outside the door and the mountain air don’t hurt either. Can’t complain about too much. Go here.

This was a last-minute find that turned out to be a hidden gem! Though just a quick walk away from the old medina and kasbah, it feels tranquil as it is perched on top of a hill with majestic mountains as a beautiful backdrop! Everything from the common spaces to the rooms is tastefully decorated with Moroccan relics, ornaments, and furnishings. DINE + DRINK: They have multiple restaurants on site and the one that served breakfast(a decent affair!) was located in a cozy space with lovely views. ROOM: We stayed in Suite #7, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Lovely suite with a huge living area that came with a big L-shaped Sofa/Couch and a beautiful bedroom area. The mini balcony has mindblowing views of the old town and is in the shadow of an ancient tree that sweetly looms over the room; VIEW: Sweet view of the town and the courtyard; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Beautifully decorated bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Nice spa quality toiletries. FACILITIES: No Gym, but they have an outdoor pool with million-dollar views of the mountains and the old blue town SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Huge Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Friendly staff, good decor and location. Have a small swimming pool and nice dinning area both indoor and outdoor. Room is spacious and easy to access anywhere in the Blue city without walking too far into the Medina. Breakfast is good at the top floor. Wonderful view.
